General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: lysozyme hydrochloride, dekvaliniya chloride;

1 tablet contains a lysozyme of a hydrochloride 10 mg in terms of dry matter, a dekvaliniya of chloride of 0,25 mg in terms of 100% dry matter;

excipients:

for tablets sovkusy mint anisa: lactoses monohydrate, mannitol (Е 421), povidone, magnesium stearate, flavoring additive anise and mint;

for tablets with taste of chocolate: Dextrosums monohydrate of ST; povidone; magnesium stearate; flavoring additives: cocoa powder, chocolate;

for tablets with taste of orange: Dextrosums monohydrate of ST; povidone; magnesium stearate; flavoring additive: orange; dye: yellow decline of FCF (E 110) LAKE.

Pharmacological properties:

Lizak – the combined drug with well-marked local antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal action. Therapeutic effect of drug is caused by the components which are its part.

Dekvaliniya chloride – a local antiseptic agent of group of kvinolin, has antiseptic action – preferential local; antibacterial action – mainly rather gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms; antifungal action – mainly against Candida albicans, some types of Trychophyton and epidermofit.

Antibacterial action is caused by a denaturation of proteins and enzymes of the activator by dissolution and a depolymerization, and also glycolysis and an inactivation of dehydrogenases; disturbance of protein synthesis at the level of ribosomes; cytolysis of a cellular membrane. Surface-active cationic action is the cornerstone of its bacteriostatic activity which is stronger in relation to gram-positive, than to gram-negative microorganisms.

The lysozyme is a mucopolysaccharide, effective rather gram-positive bacteria owing to transformation of insoluble polysaccharides of a cell wall into soluble mukopeptida. It is also effective rather gram-negative bacteria, viruses and mushrooms.

The lysozyme has local antiinflammatory effect and increases nonspecific protection of an organism.

Dekvaliniya chloride is absorbed in very insignificant quantity.

The lysozyme is well soaked up from digestive tract. The peak of concentration of a lysozyme in blood is reached in 1-1,5 hours. The lysozyme is widely distributed in body tissues, especially collects in mucous membranes. It is hydrolyzed by intestinal enzymes, removed in the form of metabolites with urine.

Indications to use:

Topical antiseptic treatment of inflammatory processes of an oral cavity and the throat caused by activators, sensitive to drug (catarral, ulcer, fibrous ulites; aphthous stomatitises; candidiasis of an oral cavity and throat; pharyngitises; tonsillitis; laryngitis and glossites).
Prevention of infections before operative measures in oral cavities and throats.

Route of administration and doses:

The recommended doses for adults and children are more senior than 12 years.

Apply on 1 tablet to a rassasyvaniye every 2-3 hour (no more than 10 tablets a day). After reduction of symptoms of an inflammation – on 1 tablet each 4 hours.

The recommended doses for children aged from 4 up to 12 years.

Apply on 1 tablet to a rassasyvaniye every 3 hour (no more than 5 tablets a day). After reduction of symptoms of an inflammation – on 1 tablet each 4 hours.

The tablet should be rassasyvat slowly, without chewing.

After administration of drug it is recommended not to eat and not to drink within 30 minutes.

Treatment is recommended to be continued within 1-2 days after disappearance of symptoms of a disease.

It is recommended to apply Lizak until disease symptoms disappear. If symptoms did not disappear in 5-7 days of treatment, it is necessary to see a doctor for definition of further tactics of treatment.

Features of use:

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast.

Controlled researches were not conducted. In this regard drug during pregnancy or feeding by a breast can be applied after consultation with the doctor if the therapeutic effect exceeds possible risk of impact on the child.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of motor transport or work with other mechanisms.

Does not influence.

Children.

Drug in this dosage form is not used for treatment of children under 4 years because of danger of development of aspiration.

Side effects:

Drug is usually transferred well, messages on serious side reactions were not. Nevertheless the following undesirable medicamentous reactions are possible:

from digestive tract: nausea, dryness in a mouth, dysbacteriosis of an oral cavity (at prolonged use);

from immune system: allergic reactions (urticaria, rash, an itch) are very seldom possible;

local reactions: a burning sensation and irritations in a throat.

Interaction with other medicines:

At a concomitant use with kayeksalaty (means for treatment of a hyperpotassemia) there is a probability of development of crushing necrotic damages of skin and mucous membranes, especially digestive tract.

Antibacterial activity a dekvaliniya of chloride decreases at simultaneous use of anionic detergents, for example, of toothpaste.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to active ingredients or to any of additional components of drug.

Appropriate security measures at use

 

Tablets with taste of an anise and mint do not contain sugar therefore they can be applied to treatment of patients with a diabetes mellitus.

1 tablet for a rassasyvaniye of a sovkusama of a shokoladaila of orange contains 0,05 XE that needs to be considered a sick diabetes mellitus.

In the presence of the main clinical symptoms of generalization of an infection it is necessary to appoint system antibacterial treatment. At emergence of any side effects Lizak's reception it is necessary to stop and appoint other medicine.

The concomitant use with other drugs for topical treatment should be carried out carefully.

Overdose:

There are no data on overdose.

Drug is absorbed in a small amount therefore the probability of overdose is improbable.

Storage conditions:

Period of validity 2 years. Not to use drug after the termination of the period of validity specified on packaging. To store in the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not over 25 ºС.

On 1 blister (10 tablets) or on 2 blisters (6 tablets) enclosed in a pack.
