Laktobakterin dry

General characteristics. Structure:

Laktobakterin dry represents the microbic mass of the live, lyophilized in the environment of cultivation lactobacilli of L. plantarum or L.fermentum. One dose supports not less than 2 billion live lactobacilli.  

Main properties: Laktobakterin dry represents the microbic mass of the live, lyophilized lactobacilli having antagonistic activity in relation to pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms and creating favorable conditions for development of useful intestinal microflora.

Pharmacological properties:

The therapeutic effect of a laktobakterin is defined by the live lactobacilli having antagonistic activity in relation to pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, and creating favorable conditions for development of useful intestinal microflora.

Indications to use:

Drug is used with the medical and preventive purpose. Apply to adults and children (from the first days of life).

It is shown at:

- acute intestinal infections (in complex treatment);

- dysbacterioses of the established and unspecified etiology;

- dysbacterioses at infectious and the somatopathies demanding a massive antibioticotherapia;

- intestines dysfunctions (as a consequence of the postponed acute intestinal infections and dysbacterioses);

- acute and chronic colitis of a different etiology, including nonspecific ulcer colitis;

- the obstetric and gynecologic actions connected with sanitation of a genital tract at nonspecific inflammatory diseases of genitalias and prenatal training of pregnant women of group of "risk" with disturbances of purity of a vaginal secret to degree Sh-IV.

Route of administration and doses:

Drug is used in the form of solution inside, and in obstetric and gynecologic practice – intravaginalno. Before use contents of a bottle are dissolved in pro-boiled water of room temperature. For this purpose in a glass pour water at the rate of 1 teaspoon of water on 1 dose of drug (the quantity of doses of drug is specified on the label), then transfer a part of water from a glass to a bottle for drug dissolution. Drug is dissolved no more than 5 minutes, forming homogeneous mix with a sour-milk smell. Further contents of a bottle are transferred to a glass from the rest of water and mixed (1 teaspoon of the solution received in a glass is equivalent to 1 dose of drug). The necessary number of teaspoons of solution (drug doses) drink in 40 min. – 1 hour to food 2-3 times a day.

Daily doses for adults and children depending on age: to children up to 6 months – on 1-2 doses; from 6 months to 1 year – on 2-3 doses; from 1 year to 3 years – on 3-4 doses; 3 years – are more senior till 4-10 than doses; the adult – till 6-10 doses. The daily dose is divided into 2-3 receptions. Use duration: at the long and chronic course of dysentery, post-dysenteric colitis, an aftercare of convalescents after acute intestinal infections, and also at long intestinal dysfunction of an unspecified etiology treatment is carried out by not less than 4-6 weeks; at nonspecific ulcer colitis, and also chronic colitis and coloenterites treatment is carried out to 1.5-2 months; at dysbacterioses of various etiology treatment is carried out on an extent of 3 - 4 weeks.

For fixing of the gained clinical effect in 10-14 days after the termination of a course of treatment in the absence of full normalization of microflora appoint maintenance doses of drug (a half of a day dose) within 1-1.5 months. At the diseases proceeding with a recurrence repeated courses of treatment are reasonable. In these cases before purpose of drug the repeated research of microflora is necessary. In obstetric and gynecologic practice лактобактерин apply intravaginalno.

Before use contents of a bottle are dissolved in 5 ml of pro-boiled water of room temperature. Impregnate with the received suspension of drug a cotton or gauze sterile plug and enter it intravaginalno and leave for 2-3 hours. At inflammatory diseases of generative organs Laktobakterin-Biofarma use 3 doses 2 times a day within 10-12 days (since 10-12 in the afternoon a menstrual cycle). By prenatal training of pregnant women of group of "risk" Laktobakterin-Biofarma use 5-6 doses of 1 times a day within 5-8 days. Treatment carry out under control of recovery of purity of a vaginal secret to І - ІІ degrees, emergence of lactoflora and disappearance of clinical symptoms of a disease.

Features of use:

Dissolution of drug in hot water and its storage in the liquid state is inadmissible. In need of use of contents of a bottle in stages (2-4 times a day) a part, necessary for reception, is separated a dry pure subject (a spoon, other) and used, and the rest of drug is stored in densely closed bottle in the refrigerator before the following receptions. It is desirable to wash down drug with milk. Babies can give drug just before feeding.

Interaction with other medicines:

Treatment is recommended to be accompanied with use of vitamins. In view of a high antibiotikoustoychivost of lactobacilli use of drug is possible in combination with an antibioticotherapia. In case of use of specific bacteriophages corrective therapy of Laktobakterinom-Biofarm is appointed after a course of treatment a bacteriophage.

Storage conditions:

In the dry, protected from light place at a temperature from 2 °C to 8 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children.
