Gastro-norm

General characteristics. Structure:

1 tablet contains bismuth of subcitrate of Bi2O3, colloid in terms of 120 mg;

Additional substances: starch potato or corn, calcium stearate, sodium of a kroskarmeloz.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Drug forms on a surface of ulcers and erosion of a stomach a protective film which promotes their scarring and protects from influence of a gastric juice; increases synthesis of biologically active agents, stimulates a myxopoiesis and bicarbonates, reduces activity of pepsin and a pepsinogen, has bactericidal activity concerning Helicobacter pylori.

Indications to use:

Not ulcer dyspepsia, round ulcer of a stomach and duodenum in aggravation stages, chronic gastritis, a duodenitis in an aggravation stage, in schemes of treatment of an eradikation Helicobacter pylori.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, on 1 tablet 3 times a day in 30 min. prior to food and the 4th time - before going to bed. To wash down a tablet with 1-2 drinks of water (only not milk). Treatment term - 4-6nedel. After that it is necessary to take a break for 8 weeks and not to use the drugs containing bismuth.
Scheme of treatment of an eradikation Helicobacter pylori: ÂáßÔÓ«-Норм® 120 mg 4 times a day + inhibitors of "the proton pump" in a standard dose + metronidazole of 500 mg 3 times a day + tetracycline of 500 mg 4 times a day within 7 days.

To children: To children appoint in such doses of Gastro-Norma®:
from 3 to 12 years - on 1 tablet (120 mg) 2 times a day;
12 years are also more senior - on 2 tablets (240 mg) 2 times a day.
At frequent use of drug, development of a reversible renal failure which symptoms can appear in 10 days and later is possible.
In this case it is necessary to see a doctor immediately.

Side effects:

Nausea, headache, diarrhea, feeling sick are possible, it is rare - an itch, an enanthesis.
In case of any unusual reactions surely consult to the doctor of rather further use of drug!

Interaction with other medicines:

If you accept any other medicines, surely consult with the doctor concerning a possibility of use of drug.
At simultaneous use of Gastro-Norma® tetracycline absorption decreases.
At use together with the drugs containing bismuth the risk of increase in concentration of bismuth increases in blood.

Storage conditions:

The period of validity of drug makes 3 years. Not to use drug after the termination of the period of validity specified on packaging. To store in the unavailable to children, dry, protected from light place at a temperature of 15 - 25 °C.
