Oksitselanim

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: the oxidized cellulose containing immobilized on it an antibiotic - gentamycin and a synthetic immunomodulator - тимоген. Antimicrobic activity of gentamycin makes 100 – 220 mg/g.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Pharmacological effects of drug are caused by action of an antibiotic - gentamycin (group of aminoglycosides) and an immunostimulator - a timogen, being a part of drug. It is effective concerning gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms (staphylococcus, streptococci, pneumococci, enterococci, proteas, colibacillus, etc.).

Possesses styptic action and ability to stimulate cellular and humoral immunity. Completely resolves at implantation in an organism. In an experiment on animals and in clinical conditions it is shown that drug <Oksitselanim> possesses an antimicrobic and immunopromoting effect, does not cause the expressed side effects.

Indications to use:

Pyoinflammatory diseases of skin, soft tissues and mucous membranes: wounds with suppuration, trophic ulcers, furuncles, abscesses, an anthrax, paraproctites, thermal burns, phlegmons, hydradenites, lymphadenites, etc. It can be used as implantation means for prevention it is purulent - septic complications after surgical and gynecologic operations.

Route of administration and doses:

Drug <Oksitselanim> is intended for external and implantation use.

At external use <Oksitselanim> with observance of rules of an asepsis take from packaging, cut off the piece corresponding to the area of a wound surface, impose on the wound which is previously cleared of necrotic plaques, from above close a sterile gauze napkin and fix bintovy, adhesive or other bandage. Bandagings do in 1-2 days before emergence of granulations and epithelization. At band wounds <Oksitselanim> it is entered in the form of a drainage strip or a turunda.

At implantation use for prevention it is purulent - septic complications when carrying out surgeries drug is brought without corrugation to the operated body and fixed by two-three resolving seams.

Side effects:

Sometimes at external and implantation use of <Oksitselanim> allergic dermatitis, an itch can develop. Manifestation of ototoksichesky and nephrotoxic action is seldom or never possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is not recommended to apply at the same time with the diuretics and other antibiotics rendering from - or nephrotoxic action.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to a timogen and antibiotics aminoglycosides, an inflammation of the hearing aid, a renal failure, pregnancy.

Overdose:

It is not revealed.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature of 5-15 °C in the place protected from light. A period of validity - 2 years.
