General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 65 mg of phospholipids (in the form of a lipoid of PPL-400), 35 mg of glycyrrhizinate.

Excipients: beeswax, the sunflower oil refined.

Structure of a cover of the capsule: gelatin, глицерол, the water purified, Natrium benzoicum (E211), titanium dioxide (E171), dye ferrous oxide red (E172), dye ferrous oxide yellow (E172), dye ferrous oxide black (E172).

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Fosfatidilkholin (the main active ingredient of phospholipids) is a structural element of cellular and intracellular membranes, is capable to recover their structure and functions at damage, having cytoprotective effect. Normalizes proteinaceous and lipidic exchanges, prevents loss by hepatocytes of enzymes and other active agents, recovers detoksitsiruyushchy function of a liver, inhibits formation of connecting fabric, reducing risk of developing of fibrosis and cirrhosis.

Glycyrrhizinates (glycyrrhizic acid and its salts) possess antiinflammatory action, suppress a reproduction of viruses in a liver and other bodies due to stimulation of products of interferon, increase in phagocytosis, increase in activity of natural cells killers. Have hepatoprotective effect thanks to antioxidant and membrane stabilizing activity. Exponentiate action of endogenous glucocorticosteroids, having antiinflammatory and antiallergic effect at noninfectious damages of a liver.

At damages of skin due to membrane stabilizing and antiinflammatory action of components limits distribution of process and promotes regress of a disease.

Glycyrrhizinates stimulate development of antibodies in culture of lymphocytes of the person, proliferation of T - and V-lymphocytes, products of γ-interferon, strengthen phagocytosis of macrophages and activity of a lysozyme, raise an antiserum capacity. Also stimulating effect of glycyrrhizinates on secretion interleykina-2 is noted.

Pharmacokinetics. Absorption. After intake components of drug are well soaked up from a GIT both in the form of the whole molecule, and in the form of bioactive hydrolysates (unsaturated fatty acids, sincaline, glitsirretovy acid).

Distribution. Bioactive hydrolysates are well distributed in an organism, get into a liver, lungs, skin and other bodies.

Indications to use:

Эссенциглив apply in complex treatment of the following states:
- viral hepatitis (acute and chronic);
- steatosis and steatogepatit (alcoholic and not alcoholic);
- toxic damages of a liver;
- intoxications;
- psoriasis;
- neurodermatitis;
- eczemas.

Route of administration and doses:

Эссенциглив apply to children of 12 years and the adult inside during food. Accept 1-2 capsules 3-4 times a day, washing down with a small amount of liquid.

The course of treatment at acute diseases makes 30 days, at chronic damages of a liver – no more than 6 weeks.

Features of use:

Does not influence a possibility of driving of the car, work with the equipment.

Эссенциглив active component contains trinatriyevy salt of glycyrrhizic acid (35 mg in 1 капс.). Glycyrrhizic acid (глицират) is emitted from extract of roots of a glycyrrhiza (licorice), belongs to steroid saponins. Use of glycyrrhizic acid in the doses exceeding therapeutic results in serious side effects.

Glitsirat applied inside during the long period (more than 6 weeks) can cause intoxication symptoms: headache, lethargy, increase in the ABP, hypostases, removal of potassium from an organism.

Use in pediatrics. Drug is appointed to children 12 years are more senior.

Side effects:

Dermatological reactions: at the increased individual sensitivity emergence of skin rash which disappears at drug withdrawal is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

The glycyrrhizic acid which is a part of drug is synergist of corticosteroid hormones, it strengthens and prolongs their action.

Contraindications:

- pregnancy;
- period of a lactation (breastfeeding);
- hypersensitivity to drug components;
- children's age up to 12 years.

Overdose:

Simptov the overdose is noted.

The glycyrrhizic acid which is a part of drug in high doses can cause pseudo-corticosteroid effect which consists in increase in level of glucocorticoids and mineralokortikoid in blood. It leads to a delay of sodium and reduction of potassium in an organism, and, as a result, to increase in the ABP, a water delay in an organism.

Storage conditions:

List B. Drug should be stored in protected from moisture and light, the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature from 15 °C to 25 °C. A period of validity - 2 years.
