Aminosteril N-Gepa

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 10,4 g of L-izoleytsina, 13,09 g of a L-leucine, 9,71 g of a L-lysine of monohydrate that corresponds to 6,88 g of a L-lysine, 1,1 g of L-methionine, 700 mg of N-acetyl-L-cysteine that corresponds to 520 mg of L-cysteine, 880 mg of L-phenylalanine, 4,4 g of L-threonine, 700 mg of L-tryptophane, 10,08 g of L-valine, 10,72 g of L-arginine, 2,8 g of a L-histidine, 5,82 g of glycine, 4,64 g of L-alanine, 5,73 g of L-proline, 2,24 g of L-serine, 4,42 g of acetic acid ice.

The general content of nitrogen of 12.9 g/l, the general concentration of amino acids of 80 g/l, рН 5.7-6.3, titrable acidity on NaOH of 12-25 mmol/l, theoretical osmolarity 770 ¼Äß¼/l.

Excipients: water for injections.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Drug for parenteral food (solution of amino acids). Specially adapted solution for patients with abnormal liver functions containing high amount of branched amino acids and arginine, and low – branched amino acids.

Indications to use:

— parenteral administration of amino acids (Aminosteril N-GEPA of 8%) at heavy abnormal liver functions (liver failure) with or without disturbances of functions of a brain (encephalopathy);

— therapy of abnormal liver functions (hepatic coma).

Route of administration and doses:

For in/in injections. If there are no other instructions, then appoint 1.0-1.25 ml/kg of mass of body/h that makes 0.08-0.1 g of amino acids / 1 kg of body weight of the patient.

Maximum dose: 1.5 of amino acids/kg of body weight/days, i.e. 1300 ml/days at the body weight of sick 70 kg.

Aminosteril N-GEPA of 8% apply while parenteral food is required i.e. while therapy is necessary.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. About results of use of drug for pregnant women it is not reported.

Use at renal failures. Contraindicated: heavy renal failures (renal failure).

Use for children. About results of use of drug for children it is not reported.

Special instructions. Use Aminosteril is reasonable N-GEPA of 8% only within the provided indications.

Control of level of electrolytes of blood serum (ionogramm), water balance and a condition of acid-base equilibrium is necessary.

About results of use of drug for children it is not reported.

Side effects:

In/in introduction Aminosteril of N-GEPA of 8%, as well as other special solutions, can lead to increase in release of acid and a gastric juice and to an exacerbation of an ulcer. Therefore it is necessary to check previously need of preventive introduction of H2 – antagonists.

Contraindications:

— disturbances of exchange of amino acids of an extrahepatic etiology;

— overhydratation;

— gipokalemiya;

— hyponatremia;

— heavy renal failures (renal failure);

— heavy dysfunctions of heart (heart failure).

Storage conditions:

To store at a temperatus it is not above 25 °C in the place protected from light. To apply only if solution is transparent and packaging is not damaged. To store drug in the place, unavailable to children.
