Энзистал®

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 192 mg of Pancreatinum (that corresponds to 6000 Units of MFF of a lipase, 4500 Units of MFF of amylase, 300 Units of MFF of protease), 50 mg of hemicellulose, 25 mg of extract of bull bile.

Excipients: lactose, magnesium stearate, colloid dioxide of silicon, acetate cellulose phthalate, diethyl phthalate, sugar, calcium carbonate, talc, Arabian gum, gelatin, titanium dioxide, beeswax, karnaubsky wax.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The combined drug which effect is caused by the components which are its part. Энзистал® has a protective cover which is not dissolved before hit in a small intestine that protects enzymes from the destroying action of a gastric juice. Энзистал® promotes bystry and full digestion of food, facilitates the symptoms arising owing to digestion disturbance (heavy feeling and overflow of a stomach, a meteorism, the asthma caused by accumulation of gases in intestines, diarrhea).

The enzymes which are a part of Pancreatinum - amylase, a lipase and protease - facilitate digestion of carbohydrates, fats and proteins that promotes their fuller absorption in a small intestine.

Hemicellulose – the enzyme promoting splitting of a cellulose that also improves digestive processes reduces formation of gases in intestines.

Extract of bile works zhelchegonno, promotes emulsification of fats, increases activity of a lipase, improves absorption of fats and fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, K.

Indications to use:

• For improvement of digestion at persons with normal function of digestive tract in case of errors in food (irregular/irrational food, the use of greasy food, an overeating);
• At disturbance of chewing function, a forced long immobilization, a slow-moving way of life;
• Insufficiency of vneshnesekretorny function of a pancreas (chronic pancreatitis, mucoviscidosis and so forth);
• Chronic inflammatory and dystrophic diseases of a stomach, intestines, liver, gall bladder; the states after a resection or radiation of these bodies which are followed by disturbances of digestion of food, a meteorism, diarrhea (as a part of a combination therapy);
• Preparation to radiological and to ultrasound examination of abdominal organs.

Route of administration and doses:

Энзистал®принимают inside, without chewing, in time or right after food, washing down with a small amount of liquid.

Adults - on 1-2 tablets 3 times a day. Higher doses are appointed by the doctor. Children are more senior than 6 years (on doctor's orders) - on 1 tablet 2-3 times a day.

Duration of treatment can vary of several days (at disturbance of process of digestion owing to errors in food) up to several months or years (in need of continuous replacement therapy).

Before radiological or ultrasonography - 2 tablets 2-3 times a day within 2-3 days before a research.

Features of use:

At a mucoviscidosis it is necessary to appoint drug with care since the dose has to be adequate to quantity and quality of the consumed food.

Use at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation. At pregnancy and feeding a breast drug is appointed only if the expected advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for a fruit or the child.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pains, decrease in endogenous synthesis of bile acids. At prolonged use in high doses development of a hyper uricosuria, increase in level of uric acid in a blood plasma is possible.

At children at use of high doses development of perianal irritation and irritation of a mucous membrane of an oral cavity is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

At simultaneous use with Enzistalom® absorption of PASK, streptocides, antibiotics amplifies; decrease in absorption of iron preparations is possible.

Simultaneous use of the antiacid means containing calcium a carbonate and/or magnesium hydroxide can lead to decrease in efficiency of Enzistala®.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, acute pancreatitis, an exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis, a liver failure, hepatitis, mechanical jaundice, cholelithiasis, an empyema of a gall bladder, intestinal impassability, children's age up to 6 years.

Storage conditions:

To store at a temperature not above 25 °C in the dry, protected from light place. To store in the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 3 years. Not to apply after the period of validity specified on packaging.

10 tablets in a strip from aluminum foil. 10 strips on 10 tablets with the application instruction are packed into a cardboard pack. 10 tablets in the Ave/ave the blister. 8 blisters or 2 blisters on 10 tablets with the application instruction are packed into a cardboard pack.
