General characteristics. Structure:
Main physical and chemical properties: gel of yellow color, homogeneous consistence; structure: 100 g of gel contain 2 g of a venorutinol, heparin sodium – 30000 ME, a dekspantenola – 3 g; excipients: propylene glycol, Trilonum of B, карбопол 980 NF, solution of caustic natron of 30%, the water purified.
Pharmacological properties:
Venogepanol – anti-inflammatory and antitrombotichesky drug for external use. Heparin which is a part of drug possesses local antitrombotichesky, antiedematous and antiinflammatory action, improves a local blood stream. Venorutinol, a synthetic analog of a trokserutin, has venotoniziruyushchy and angioprotektorny effect, normalizes permeability of walls of capillaries, raises their tone. Along with angioprotektorny action венорутинол has antiedematous and antiinflammatory effect at the states connected with chronic venous insufficiency. Dekspantenol stimulates granulation and epithelization of fabrics, and also improves heparin absorption.

Indications to use:
Prevention and treatment of a varicosity, thromboses, thrombophlebitises, the inflamed infiltrates, shin ulcers at local disturbance of blood circulation; thrombophlebitises of hemorrhoidal veins; the subsequent treatment in the postoperative period concerning a varicosity. The closed injuries (including sports) with hemorrhages, hematomas, contusions, stretchings, a tendovaginitis. For improvement of processes of healing of postoperative hems. Cicatricial induration. Outside inflammatory processes and infiltrates (abscesses, a furunculosis, decubituses, an intertrigo, cracks and an inflammation of papillas of the breast during a lactation).
Route of administration and doses:
To adults the column of gel 5 cm long is applied on an affected area by 1-3 times a day. At treatment of diseases of veins drug is used in the form of bandages with gel. At varicose ulcers gel is applied in the form of a ring with a diameter of 4 cm.
Features of use:
Gel is applied only on intact surfaces. Not to apply on open wounds and to watch that drug did not get into eyes and on mucous membranes.
To pregnant women to accept only under control of the doctor.
Venogepanol's use for children is not described.
Side effects:
Local hypersensitivity reactions to drug components are possible.
