Nitrofunginum

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: chlornitrophenol - 1,0 g.
Excipients: ethanol of 96%, triethylene glycol, the water purified - to 100 ml.

Description: Transparent, from yellow till greenish-yellow color solution with an alcohol smell.

Pharmacological properties:

Antifungal means. At concentration of solution of 0,0001% suppresses growth of Microsporum canis, Trichophyton gypseum; at concentration of 0,0007% suppresses Candida albicans growth; at increase in content of active agent to 0,003% shows fungicidal action.
At higher concentration has antibacterial effect concerning gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

Indications to use:

Fungal infections of skin: tinea, inguinal epidermophitia, trichophytosis skin candidiasis, mycoses of feet, fungus diseases of outside acoustical pass.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly. Solution is applied on affected areas of skin with a cotton plug by 2-3 times a day. Treatment is continued before disappearance of clinical displays of a disease. 2-3 times a week within 4-6 weeks continue to apply solution to the prevention of a recurrence. For the purpose of prevention solution is applied by 1-2 times a week within 4 weeks.

Features of use:

In case of the expressed irritant action at daily use it is possible to use the solution diluted with water (1:1). Sites the leather processed by drug should not be subjected to influence of sunshine.

Side effects:

Local irritative action, photodermatitis, allergic reactions.

Interaction with other medicines:

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Pregnancy and period of a lactation
Use at pregnancy is possible only when the potential advantage for mother exceeds possible risk for a fruit. In the period of a lactation it is necessary to resolve an issue of the breastfeeding termination.

It is unknown.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature from 10 °C to 25 °C, in the place protected from light. In the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity of 5 years. Not to use after expiry date.

Packaging:

Solution for external use of 1%. On 25 ml of drug in a bottle of brown glass, with the self-condensed cover with control of the first opening. Each bottle together with the application instruction is placed in a cardboard pack.
