General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: an omokonazola the nitrate micronized - 0,2 g.
Excipients: paraffin superliquid, polysorbate 40, carbomer 934 P, the benzoic acid, sodium hydroxide (30% aqueous solution), a macrogoal and glycerides of palm-oil ethers (labrafit M-2130-CS), the desalinated water.

Description: Inodorous white homogeneous cream.

Pharmacological properties:

Active agent - nitrate of an omokonazol is derivative an imidazole, has antifungalny and antibacterial properties. The mechanism of action is based on blocking of biosynthesis of ergosterol and change of lipidic structure of fungi.

Works fungistaticly for barmy mushrooms (Candida albicans, Candida glabrata, etc. types of Candida), dermatophytes (Trichophyton spp., Ephidermophyton spp., Microsporum spp.), Pityrosporum orbiculare, Pityrosporum ovale, Aspergilus spp. According to the researches in vitro, омоконазол has bactericidal effect against gram-positive bacteria.

Pharmacokinetics. At external use it is not soaked up, or soaked up in very small degree.

Indications to use:

Topical treatment of fungus diseases of skin:

- Candidiasis;
- The diseases of skin and a hair caused by dermatophytes: dermatofitiya of brushes and feet, smooth skin, inguinal dermatofitiya, dermatofitiya of a pilar part of the head and area of a beard;
- Chromophytosis; the seborrheal dermatitis caused by Pityrospomum ovale.
- Erythrasma

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly. Cream is applied on an affected area of skin 1-2 times a day with a thin layer and slightly rubbed. Depending on character of a fungus disease the average course of treatment makes 2-6 weeks. Treatment should be continued within a week after full treatment (disappearance of symptoms of an inflammation, subjective complaints) for the purpose of prevention of a recurrence of a disease.

Features of use:

With care it is necessary to apply on big sites of the injured skin, at treatment of children under 5 years. It is not recommended to apply at the patients sensitive to the benzoic acid.

It is not necessary to apply on mucous membranes and skin in eyes. For washing of a body it is necessary to use neutral or alkalescent soap. During treatment underwear, a towel and a sponge for washing should be disinfected and changed daily.

Pregnancy and lactation
Researches on animals showed what in therapeutic doses омоконазол has no embriotoksichesky effect.

Drug use Mikogal at pregnancy is possible only when the potential advantage for mother exceeds possible risk for a fruit. In need of use of drug in the period of a lactation it is necessary to resolve an issue of the breastfeeding termination.

Side effects:

Drug is well transferred. In some cases local burning or weak irritation of skin can be felt. In most cases these symptoms are temporary and do not demand the treatment termination.

Interaction with other medicines:

Unknown.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components. With care at pregnancy and a lactation.

Overdose:

Data are absent.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature from 15 °C to 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 3 years. Not to use upon termination of a period of validity.

Packaging:

Cream for external use of 1%. On 20 g of cream in an aluminum tuba with the cap supplied with the probe for piercing of a head of a tuba. One tuba together with the application instruction in a cardboard pack.
