Bifiform® Kids

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients
- Lactobacillus rhamnosus (L. rhamnosus GG)? 10 9 bacteria.
- Bifidobacterium animalis (Bifidobacterium Bb-12)? 10 9 bacteria.
- Thiamin mononitrate (Vitamin B 1) of 0,4 mg.
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B 6) of 0,5 mg.

- Excipients of Izomalt, ксилитол, фруктоолигосахарид, cellulose microcrystallic, mono - and diglycerides of fatty acids, fragrance orange, silicon dioxide, fragrance crimson, methyl cellulose, stearic acid, sucrose, sodium алгинат, sodium citrate, propyl gallate, cellulose microcrystallic.

Pharmacological properties:

Bifiform of Kids chewable tablets - the combined drug contains lactobacilli (LGG), a bifidobacterium (V-12) and group B vitamins. Medical action is defined by properties of the components which are a part of drug.

- Lactobacilli (LGG) and bifidobacterium (V-12): Synergy interacting, support and regulate physiological balance of intestinal microflora, increasing resistance of a mucous membrane of intestines to causative organisms; inhibit a translocation of pathogenic bacteriums in a large intestine, have antagonistic activity concerning many pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, normalize immunity indicators at its oppression.
- Vitamin B 1 (thiamin). One of the most important vitamins B energy balance. Is a necessary component of carbohydrate metabolism as a coenzyme component for decarboxylation of ketonic acids; plays an important role also in proteinaceous and a lipometabolism, exerts impact on carrying out nervous excitement in cholinergic synapses.
- Vitamin B (pyridoxine). Participates in synthesis of nucleic acids, regulates phosphorus-calcium exchange, improves function of a liver, participates in a hemopoiesis. Is important for normal function of the central and peripheral nervous system.

Indications to use:

 To children of 3 years:
- For treatment of acute intestinal infections of the established and unspecified etiology, including viral diarrheas.
- Prevention and treatment of the dysbacterioses of various etiology including which are followed by oppression of immune system.
- In complex therapy of food allergy.

Route of administration and doses:

If other scheme of use is not appointed:

- For treatment of intestinal infections, dysbacterioses of various etiology and in complex therapy of food allergy
- To children from 3 to 12 years: about 2 tablets 2 times a day, if necessary to 3 times a day are recommended, carefully chewing, during meal. The course of treatment makes 10-21 days. If necessary the course of treatment can be repeated.

- For prevention of dysbacterioses
- To children from 3 to 12 years: about 1 tablet 2 times a day is recommended to accept, carefully chewing, during meal, within 10 days.

Features of use:

It is not necessary to exceed the recommended daily dose.

Side effects:

It is not revealed (at use in the recommended doses).

Interaction with other medicines:

Drug can be used in combination with other treatment.
Simultaneous use with antibiotics is allowed.

Contraindications:

- Individual intolerance of components of drug.

Overdose:

At use in the recommended doses symptoms of overdose were not observed.

Storage conditions:

To store in the dry place at a temperature not above 25 °C. To transport at a temperature not above 25 °C.
