General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: purple cone-flower extract         of 200 mg

Excipients: sorbitol, aspartame, magnesium stearate, fragrance.

Pharmacological properties:

Increases resistance of an organism to viral, bacterial and fungal infections. Nonspecific resistance increases, macrophages and granulocytes are activated, phagocytosis amplifies. Release of cytokines leads to proliferation and stimulation of immunocompetent cells. Content of properdin in blood serum increases. Antiviral activity concerning influenza viruses and herpes, and also an inhibiting effect on fabric and bacterial hyaluronidase is found in some substances which are contained in extract of Ekhinatsei.

Indications to use:

- prevention of a SARS and ORZ;
- at initial symptoms of flu and cold (in complex therapy);
- as supportive application at recurrent infections of respiratory and urinary tract.

Route of administration and doses:
