General characteristics. Structure:

Structure of a cover of the capsule: gelatin – 261,7 mg, глицерол – 117,8 mg, the water purified – 235,5 mg.
Description. Transparent, from light yellow till dark yellow color, an oval form soft gelatin capsules. Contents of capsules – transparent oily liquid from light yellow till dark yellow color with a specific smell.

Pharmacological properties:

Drug represents a combination of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PNZhK) of the Omega-3 family of eykozapentayenovy acid (ERA), dokozageksayenovy acids (DHA) and vitamin E.
Drug is used at the disturbances of lipidic exchange caused by the expressed gipertriglitseridemiya possesses antiinflammatory action. Contributes to normalization of maintenance of LPNP and LPONP, change of liquid properties of membranes of cells and increase in functional activity of membrane receptors that promotes improvement of lipidic and cellular interaction of lipoproteids with enzymes, to improvement of metabolism of lipoproteids. Contributes to blood lipid metabolism normalization. Anti-modular effect of drug is connected with substitution of arachidonic acid as a part of phospholipids of a membrane of cells or with braking of aggregation of thrombocytes as a result of influence on lipidic properties of receptors with H2 A2/prostaglandin thromboxane. Antiinflammatory action is caused by reduction of products of metabolites of E2 prostaglandin, reached by inclusion in biosynthesis of essential fatty acids. Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids brake an inflammation, reduce ability of arteries to vasoconstriction, reduce aggregation of thrombocytes.
This complex of irreplaceable polyunsaturated fatty acids is applied to normalization of lipidic exchange and decrease in risk of development of atherosclerosis.
Vitamin E has antioxidant activity, participates in tissue respiration and other major processes of fabric metabolism; protects cells and fabrics from the damaging action of excess quantities of free radicals and peroxide products.

Indications to use:

- prevention of a dislipidemiya (disturbance of lipidic exchange);
- the complex therapy of disturbances of lipidic exchange including including a diet, statines.

Route of administration and doses:

It is recommended to accept the adult inside, washing down with water:
- with the preventive purpose – on 1 capsule a day, in 30 minutes after food;
- from medical – on 1 capsule 2-3 times a day, in 30 minutes after food.
Course of treatment not less than 3 months. Repeated courses according to the recommendation of the doctor.

Features of use:

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions. Frustration from digestive tract: a gastroesophageal reflux or an eructation with a smell or smack of fish, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
At prolonged use in high doses the exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

The concomitant use with peroral anticoagulants promotes risk of increase in a bleeding time. The concomitant use with warfarin does not lead to development of hemorrhagic complications (however at the combined reception or after the termination of a course of treatment drug control of a prothrombin time is necessary).
The concomitant use from fibrata is not recommended. During the administration of drug "VITRUM® КАРДИО OMEGA-3" reception of other drugs containing vitamin E is not recommended.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, an exacerbation of chronic cholecystitis and pancreatitis, an exacerbation of diseases of gepatobiliarny system, cholelithiasis; the morbid conditions including a hemorrhagic syndrome. Children's age up to 18 years.

Use of drug during pregnancy and a lactation
 During pregnancy and breastfeeding it is recommended to accept drug only on doctor's orders.

Overdose:

Overdose symptoms: pain in epigastric area, dispeptic frustration (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea).
Treatment: symptomatic, drug withdrawal.

Storage conditions:

In the dry place at a temperature of 10-30 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 3 years. Not to use upon termination of a period of validity.

Packaging:

Capsules.
On 30, 60, 100 or 120 capsules in a bottle from polyethylene with the screwing-up cover from the same material and the safety valve from a foil and a protective strip from polyethylene. On a bottle paste the label, a bottle cover with polyethylene film and together with the application instruction place in a cardboard pack.
