Description:
First of all, active treatment of the basic disease which led to developing of premature ventricular contraction, in case of need an operative measure (valve damages of heart), drug treatment is carried out (antiarrhytmic drugs inside). Most often with the preventive purpose appoint potassium salts, Pananginum, quinidine in small doses, beta adrenoblockers, verapamil, Amiodaronum, pulse norm, etc. At the same time is taken into account not only antiarrhytmic, but also anti-anginal effect of such drugs as beta adrenoblockers, verapamil, Amiodaronum, etc.
Extrasystoles, even single, whenever possible it is necessary to eliminate. It is especially important at coronary heart disease (a myocardial infarction, stenocardia, chronic coronary insufficiency), intoxication cardiac glycosides and other states when premature ventricular contraction can pass into a Bouveret's disease, a ciliary arrhythmia and fibrillation of ventricles.
Polytopic ventricular extrasystoles on an ECG
