Антиоксикапс with selenium

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 6 mg of beta carotene, 30 mg of alpha tocopherol of acetate (vitamin E), 100 mg of ascorbic acid (vitamin C), 0,03 mg of selenium barmy (in terms of selenium).

Excipients: the beeswax, lecithin purified sunflower oil.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Pharmacological activity of Antioksikaps with selenium is caused by complex effect of the vitamins which are contained in it: ascorbic acid, α-tocopherol of acetate, beta carotene and microelement of selenium.

Ascorbic acid participates in regulation of oxidation-reduction processes in an organism, activates carbohydrate protein metabolism, increases cholesterol metabolism, increases coagulability of blood, strengthens an angenesis, synthesis of steroid hormones, collagen and procollagen, promotes iron absorption improvement. It raises adaptation opportunities of an organism and strengthens its resilience to infections.

α-tocopherol acetate inhibits oxidation of fats in an organism and education from them toxic peroxides, stabilizing durability of bonds in unsaturated fatty acids. It normalizes structure and function of membranes of erythrocytes, endotheliocytes, enterocytes, etc. Tocopherol participates in collagen biosynthesis, gem and proteins, activates proliferation of cells, function of tissue respiration and other major processes of cellular metabolism. It stimulates formation of gonadotrophins, a spermatogenesis, development of an oosperm, placenta.

Beta carotene possesses antioxidant, immunomodulatory and antiinflammatory action due to ability to binding of active oxygen that protects cellular structures from destruction by the free radicals who are formed in a large number at influence of adverse environmental factors or at development of pathological processes in an organism.

Selenium slows down aging process, has the cytoprotective properties, participates in regulation of elasticity of fabrics, promotes a distribution delay in an organism of viruses and to development of consecutive infections in patients. It is an essential part of fermental system glutathione peroxidases, influences activity of this enzyme. Glutathione peroxidase protects intracellular structures from the damaging action of free oxygen radicals which are formed both at a metabolism, and under the influence of external factors including ionizing radiation. Now selenium is considered as one of perspective anticarcinogen factors.

Indications to use:

As polyvitaminic antioxidant drug of Antioksikaps with selenium is shown:
- for prevention and treatment vitamin (With, E and A) insufficiency and insufficiency of selenium;
- for increase in body resistance to catarrhal diseases;
- at the raised exercise and intellectual stresses;
- at unbalanced and defective food;
- during recovery after the long and/or hard proceeding diseases, including infectious.

Route of administration and doses:

Антиоксикапс with selenium accept after food, washing down with water.

With the preventive purpose and in complex treatment children are recommended to appoint drug from 14 years and the adult on 1 capsule of 1 times a day within 1-3 months.

Antioksikaps's doses with selenium and duration of its use are established by the doctor depending on character and degree of manifestation of pathology, and also taking into account the need of an organism for vitamins A, With and E.

Features of use:

To apply with care at patients with a hyperoxaluria.

At emergence of a smell of garlic in expired air (a selenium overdose symptom) drug should be cancelled.

Data on safety and efficiency of use of Antioksikaps with selenium at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation (breastfeeding) are not provided.

Side effects:

At use of drug in the recommended doses of side effects it was not observed. The allergic reactions to separate components of drug disappearing later its cancellations are possible. At emergence of undesirable reactions it is necessary to stop administration of drug and to see a doctor.

Interaction with other medicines:

Corticosteroid drugs, antibiotics of tetracycline group, and also ethanol and etanolsoderzhashchy drugs at combined use reduce therapeutic effect of provitamin

Tocopherol can increase efficiency of anticonvulsants at patients with epilepsy with the increased content in blood of products of peroxide oxidation of lipids, and also vitamin A and.

Absorption of ascorbic acid decreases at simultaneous use of oral contraceptives. Vitamin C increases iron absorption, increases risk of emergence of a crystalluria at treatment by salicylates and streptocides of short action.

Contraindications:

Contraindication to use of drug is hypersensitivity to its components; children's age up to 14 years.

Overdose:

Now about cases of overdose of Antioksikaps with selenium it was not reported.

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in the unavailable to children, dry, protected from light place at a temperature from 15 °C to 25 °C. A period of validity - 2 years.
