Description:
Condition of insufficiency of vitamin E diagnose at the content of tocopherol in a blood plasma less than 0,8 mg of % for adults and children have less than 0,4 mg of %.
Symptoms of the Hypovitaminosis E:
Are characteristic:
- Hemolysis of erythrocytes
- Creatinuria
- Deposits of sphingolipids in muscles
- Demyelination of axons of TsNS and on the periphery causes a cerebellar ataxy, peripheral neuropathies, disturbances of proprioceptive sensitivity.
Reasons of the Hypovitaminosis E:
Primary insufficiency of vitamin E develops at babies at artificial feeding, especially at excess of polyunsaturated fatty acids, and also children at a shortcoming have a squirrel in a diet.
Secondary insufficiency.
- Digestion disturbances. Insufficiency of a pancreas (chronic pancreatitis, carcinoma, mucoviscidosis). Deficit of the conjugated (connected) bile acids (a cholestatic or obstructive disease of a liver). Deconjugation of salts of bile acids owing to the excess growth of bacteria at disturbances of a vermicular movement (a scleroderma, enteroobo-dochny fistulas, a state after a gastrectomy on Bilrot-11, jejunum diverticulums).
- Diseases of a small intestine. Gee's disease. Uyppl's disease. Collagenic to a spr. Negranulematozny ulcer ileojejunitis. Eosinophilic gastroenteritis. Amyloidosis. Disease Krone.
- Syndrome of a short gut.
- Lymphatic obstruction. An intestines lymphangiectasia, primary (inborn) or secondary (at tuberculosis of intestines, Uyppl's disease, an injury, a new growth or retroperitoneal fibrosis). Intestines lymphoma.
- Abetalipoproteinemiya
- Gipogammaglobulinemiya
- Defect tocopherol - the connecting protein (600415, 8ql3.1-ql3.3, a gene of TTPA TTP1, AVED], p) results in insufficiency of vitamin E with the accompanying ataxy).
Other causes: gastrectomy effects, radiation enteritis, diabetes mellitus; viral, bacterial, parasitic infections; helminthoses (Strongyloides stercoralis, Capillaria philippinensis; tape-worms), гиардиоз (lambliasis), intestines ischemia with occlusion of vessels, a carcinoid syndrome, a hypoparathyrosis, HP (Neomycinum, Kanamycinum, bacitracin, polymyxin).
Treatment of the Hypovitaminosis E:
Diet. Inclusion in a diet of the products rich with vitamin E (not refined vegetable oils, a liver, eggs, cereal and bean).
For prevention of a hypovitaminosis E - vitamin E (tocopherol acetate) adult 8-10 mg/days, to children - 3-7 mg/days.
At neuropathies, an abetalipoproteinemiya, a myocardial dystrophy - vitamin E to 100 mg/days inside fractionally.
At malabsorption - tocopherol acetate of 30-100 mg/days inside or in oil.
