Description:
Hypovitaminosis of B1 is followed by disturbance of oxidation of carbohydrates, accumulation of nedookislenny products and decrease in synthesis of acetylcholine.
Laboratory at deficit of B1 vitamin thiamin level in a blood plasma less than 14,8 mmol/l, in daily urine less than 100 mkg, level of pyruvic acid in plasma more than 0,114 mmol/l and daily urine more than 30 mg.
B1 Hypovitaminosis symptoms:
The clinical picture B1 deficit is characterized by an acrimony, a bad dream, absent-mindedness, forgetfulness, a chill, abdominal pains, tendency to vomiting, dyskinesia of a stomach and intestines, secretory frustration. Refer changes of language to number of early symptoms of a lack of B1. It becomes dryish, dark red color with the low-expressed nipples. At children changes clearly are expressed from a nervous system: they are whimsical, quickly get tired, complain of uncertain pains on the course of nerves. Tendon jerks are lowered. At small children the hyperesthesia, tearfulness, a bad dream, fading of reflexes, the general and partial constraint is quite often observed.
B1 Hypovitaminosis reasons:
Refer the insufficient use of food stuffs with anti-thiamine properties to number of risk factors of development of a hypovitaminosis of B1 (thiamin): fish of family cyprinid, Atlantic herring, tea, coffee, Brussels sprout, red chicory, bilberry, blackcurrant.
The need for thiamin is influenced significantly by the degree of an exercise stress raised or the lowered ambient temperature; the special group of the reasons of insufficiency of thiamin is made by diseases of digestive tract and a liver. In a human body thiamin is not deposited. At a thiamin exception of a food allowance symptoms of insufficiency appear in 14 — 21 day.
Treatment of the Hypovitaminosis of B1:
Inclusion in food of the products rich with B1 vitamin, peroral and parenteral administration of drugs of B1 vitamin, normalization of microflora of a large intestine (treatment of dysbacteriosis).
