Aqua Maris Device

General characteristics. Structure:

Aqua Maris the Device is a device for daily washing of a nose. Aqua Maris the Device supports protective functions of an organism in fight against respiratory infections. Solution of natural sea salt, coming by gravity to the nasal courses, washes away bacteria, viruses and allergens. It is recommended for prevention of cold and treatment of chronic nasopharyngites and rinosinusit. Eliminates the cough caused by slime flowing on a back wall of a throat. At regular use does not cause inflammations of a middle ear that often meets when washing a nose under pressure.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The device otorhinolaryngological for washing mucous a nose individual AQUA MARIS in set with means for washing, execution options:
1. capacity is 330 ml and 30 packages sachets of sea salt;
2. volume of 330 ml and 30 packages sachets of the sea salt enriched with hypoallergenic essential oils of the Myrtle ordinary and the Immortelle of Italian.

The device is recommended for individual use and is used for prevention of flu, a SARS, treatment of rhinitises and sinusitis, hygiene of a nose (the persons working at a harmful factory, to athletes) by washing of a nasal cavity and a nasopharynx by special solution.

The device otorhinolaryngological AQUA MARIS allows to wash out conveniently and safely a nose on all length of the nasal courses. Liquid for washing moves in a nasal cavity by gravity, i.e. without additional pressure that it allows to avoid such complication as an inflammation of a middle ear (otitis). The procedure is simple and safe even for children, pregnant women and the feeding women.

When washing a nasal cavity by means of the device AQUA MARIS from a mucosal surface of a nose is removed a pathological secret together with viruses, bacteria, allergens and dust, hypostasis and an inflammation decreases, the tone of capillaries raises. On mucous microelements and salts of the Adriatic Sea, and also hypoallergenic essential oils of the Myrtle ordinary and the Immortelle of Italian make salutary impact.

Action of microelements and salts of the Adriatic Sea:
• calcium ions and magnesium considerably improve work of cells of a ciliary epithelium of a mucous membrane of a nose, normalize rheological properties of slime, increase resistance of a mucous membrane of a nasal cavity to implementation of viruses and bacteria;
• iodine and sodium chloride render antiseptic effect, and also activate production of protective slime scyphoid cells,

Effect of essential oils of the Myrtle ordinary and Immortelle of Italian:
Ordinary are a part of essential oil of the Myrtle and - pinene, дипектен, camphene, cineol, миртенол, geraniol, nerol, camphor, aldehydes. It is applied as an antiseptic agent and tonic at rinosinusita, tonsillitis, bronchitis.

Indications to use:

The device for washing of a nose AQUA MARIS provides high-quality and soft sanitation of the nasal courses and is recommended to use:
• to patients with acute rhinitis at a SARS,
• to patients with allergic rhinitis,
• to patients with antritis, a frontal sinusitis, etmoidity,
• to patients with an adenoiditis,
• to patients with the raised xeromycteria and formation of crusts,
• to often ill patients,
• after surgical intervention on a nasal cavity (according to the recommendation of the doctor),
• as component of daily hygiene,
• to the athletes and people preferring active recreation before physical activity.

Route of administration and doses:

Washing of a nasal cavity:
1. Cut a bag and pour out sea salt in the device.
2. Fill the device with boiled water of body temperature to a tag and mix before full dissolution of salt.
3. Reach a comfortable position before a sink. Incline the head forward and slightly turn aside.
4. Make a deep breath and hold the breath. Apply a device tip to the above-located nostril so that it was densely pressed to it.
5. Incline the device so that solution began to come from a device tip to the nasal course. Solution will follow from an opposite nostril.
6. For removal of the remains of solution from a nose blow the nose, without changing position of the head.
7. Then blow the nose in direct situation.
8. Repeat the procedure with other nostril.

After use wash out the device cool water and well dry up it. Solution of the sea salt enriched with hypoallergenic essential oils is recommended to be used daily.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation is possible.

Contraindications:

Acute otitis and exacerbation of chronic otitis, individual intolerance of components of means for washing, allergic reactions to means components for washing, frequent nasal bleedings, high-quality and malignant new growths in a nasal cavity, full impassability of the nasal courses, children's age up to 5 years.

Storage conditions:

Period of validity - 2 years. Not to use after a period of validity. To store at a temperature not above 25 ºC in the place, dry, unavailable to children.
