General characteristics. Structure:
Active agents: a metiletilpiridinola a hydrochloride (эмоксипин) – 10,0 g
Excipients: sodium sulfite anhydrous – 2,5 g; Natrium benzoicum – 2,0 g; Potassium dihydrophosphate – 5,4 g; Sodium hydrophosphate dodecahydrate – 6,5 g; Methyl cellulose water-soluble – 6,5 g; Water for injections – to 1 l.
Pharmacological properties:
Emoksipin reduces permeability of capillaries, strengthens a vascular wall, stabilizes a cell membrane, slows down aggregation of thrombocytes, reduces coagulability and viscosity of blood, possesses anti-aggregation and anti-hypoxemic action.
Indications to use:
- Treatment and prevention of an inflammation and burns of a cornea.
- Treatment of hemorrhages in an anterior chamber of an eye.
- The complicated myopia.
- Diabetic retinopathy.
- Thrombosis of the central vein of a retina and its branches.
Route of administration and doses:
Drug is dug in in a conjunctival cavity on 1-2 drops by 2-3 times a day. Course of treatment of 3-30 days. If necessary and good tolerance of drug the course of treatment can be continued up to 6 months or repeat 2-3 times a year.

Side effects:
The burning sensation, itch, short-term hyperemia of a conjunctiva is possible, it is rare – development of local allergic reactions.
Interaction with other medicines:
Emoksipin's solution should not be mixed with other medicinal solutions. In need of simultaneous use of other eye drops, Emoksipin the last should dig in, after full absorption of the previous drops (not less than in 10 – 15 minutes).
Contraindications:
Individual hypersensitivity to drug components, pregnancy.
