Dialipon Turbo

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: thioctic acid;

1 ml of solution contains meglyuminovy salt of alpha lipoic acid 23,354 mg that corresponds to 12 mg of alpha lipoic acid;

excipients: Megluminum, polyethyleneglycol 300 (a macrogoal 300), water for injections.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Alpha lipoic acid – substance which is synthesized in an organism and performs functions of coenzyme in oxidizing decarboxylation of alpha ketonic acids; plays an important role in the course of formation of energy in cells. Promotes decrease in level of sugar in blood and to increase in quantity of a glycogen in a liver. The shortcoming or disturbance of exchange of alpha lipoic acid owing to intoxication or excess accumulation of some decomposition products (for example ketonic bodies) leads to disturbance of aerobic glycolysis. Alpha lipoic acid can exist in two physiologically active forms (oxidized and recovered) in which it is inherent anti-toxic and antioxidant actions. Alpha lipoic acid influences cholesterol exchange, takes part in regulation of lipidic and carbohydrate exchanges, improves function of a liver (owing to hepatoprotective, antioxidant, disintoxication action). Alpha lipoic acid on pharmacological properties is similar to group B vitamins.

Pharmacokinetics. Alpha lipoic acid undergoes considerable changes at primary passing through a liver. Considerable interindividual fluctuations in system availability of alpha lipoic acid are observed. It is removed by kidneys, it is preferential in the form of metabolites. Formation of metabolites is carried out as a result of oxidation of a side chain and conjugation. The drug elimination half-life makes 10-20 minutes of blood serum.

Pharmaceutical characteristics

Main physical and chemical properties: transparent liquid of flavovirent color.

Dialipon Turbo reacts Несовместимость.In vitro with ionic complexes of metals (for example with Cisplatinum) therefore drug can reduce their effect. Dialipon Turbo with sugars forms almost insoluble complex connections. Because of it infusion solution of Dialipon Turbo is incompatible with solutions of glucose, fructose, Ringera and solutions as a part of which there are connections entering chemical interaction with SH groups or disulfide bridges.

It is impossible to apply together with drugs which contain compounds of metals (for example with iron preparations, magnesium).

Indications to use:

Disturbance of sensitivity at diabetic polyneuropathy.

Route of administration and doses:

The drug is administered intravenously kapelno. Dialipon Turbo enter directly from a bottle (that is without solvent) the adult in a dose of 600 mg a day (contents of 1 bottle) within at least 30 minutes. Because alpha lipoic acid is sensitive to light influence, bottles should be stored in cardboard packaging before their direct use.

Course of treatment – 2-4 weeks. Further it is possible to continue administration of drug in capsules in a dose of 600 mg a day.

Features of use:

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast

Drug should not be used during pregnancy or feeding by a breast due to the lack of sufficient experience.

Children

Efficiency and safety of use drug are not established to children therefore drug is not used in pediatric practice.

During drug use Dialipon Turbo use light-protective black packages which are dressed on a bottle.

When performing therapy by drug Dialipon Turbo a sick diabetes mellitus is necessary regular control of level of glucose in blood. In some cases it is necessary to reduce doses of antihyperglycemic means to prevent development of a hypoglycemia.

Under the influence of alcohol therapeutic activity of alpha lipoic acid therefore it is necessary to refrain from alcohol intake during treatment the Dialipony Turbo decreases.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of motor transport or work with other mechanisms

There are no special cautions.

Side effects:

From a nervous system and sense bodys: spasms, a diplopia, change or disturbance of flavoring feelings are very seldom possible.

From system of blood: hemorrhagic rash (purpura), thrombophlebitis.

Allergic reactions: urticaria or eczema in the place of an injection, system allergic reactions which can lead to development of an acute anaphylaxis.

Others: decrease in level of sugar in blood, a hypoglycemia, dizziness, inflows, the increased perspiration, a headache, deterioration in sight, nausea, vomiting, pain in heart, tachycardia.

After bystry administration of drug the feeling of squeezing in the head, respiratory depression is possible, but these phenomena disappear spontaneously.

Interaction with other medicines:

Alpha lipoic acid strengthens effect of insulin and peroral hypoglycemic means.

Simultaneous use can lead to loss of activity of Cisplatinum. With sugar molecules alpha lipoic acid forms almost insoluble complex connections. Thus, solution of alpha lipoic acid is incompatible with glucose solution, Ringer's solution and solutions as a part of which there are connections entering chemical interaction with SH groups or disulfide bridges.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug or to one of its components; states which can lead to lactoacidosis (heart and respiratory failure, an acute phase of a myocardial infarction, an acute disorder of cerebral circulation, dehydration, an alcoholism, etc.); children's age; pregnancy and feeding by a breast.

Overdose:

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, headache, psychomotor excitement, dizziness, generalized epileptic attacks and development of lactoacidosis. At use of high doses of alpha lipoic acid there were messages on such intoksikatsionny effects as a hypoglycemia, shock, an acute necrosis of skeletal muscles, hemolysis, the disseminated intravascular blood coagulation (DIC), oppression of function of a brain and disorder of internals.

Treatment has to be carried out according to the modern principles of intensive treatment and depending on symptoms. Efficiency of use of a hemodialysis, hemoperfusion and filtrational techniques for acceleration of removal of alpha lipoic acid is not proved.

Storage conditions:

Period of validity. 2 years. Not to use drug after the termination of the period of validity specified on packaging. To store in the place protected from light at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children.
