Агриппин® SR

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 250 mg of acetylsalicylic acid, 50 mg of calcium of a gluconate, 150 mg of ascorbic acid, 10 mg of a difengidramin of a hydrochloride, 10 mg of Rutinum.

Excipients: potato starch, silicon dioxide colloid, calcium stearate.

Analgetic antipyretic of the combined structure.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Acetylsalicylic acid has antiinflammatory, analgeziruyushchy and febrifugal effect. Suppresses exudative and proliferative phases of an inflammation due to oppression of TsOG, slows down synthesis and inactivates inflammation mediators. The antiinflammatory effect develops after achievement of concentration of acetylsalicylic acid in fabrics - 150-300 mkg/ml (usually in 1-2 days of reception). Influences the center of thermal control, reduces body temperature at feverish states.

Ascorbic acid participates in regulation of oxidation-reduction processes, carbohydrate metabolism, coagulability of blood, an angenesis. Promotes increase in body resistance.

Difengidramin - a blocker histamine H1 receptors, has antiallergic, antiedematous, mestnoanesteziruyushchy effect (reduces permeability of vessels, eliminates puffiness and a hyperemia of a mucous membrane of a nose).

Calcium the gluconate is the regulator of exchange of calcium and phosphorus, has antiallergic effect, reduces permeability of vessels.

Rutoside interferes with development of a hyperpermeability and fragility of the vessels causing hemorrhagic processes at flu and also recover microcirculation.

Pharmacokinetics. Absorption and metabolism. Components of drug are quickly absorbed from a GIT and quickly enough metabolized. Meal extends time of achievement of Cmax in plasma a little, but does not influence the absolute value of this indicator and bioavailability.

Removal. Components of drug are removed, mainly, by kidneys.

Indications to use:

— the infectious and inflammatory diseases (including a SARS, flu) which are followed by fever;

— pain syndrome of various genesis (including head, muscular and joint pains).

Route of administration and doses:

Appoint inside. To adults and children 15 years - on 1-2 таб are more senior. 3 times/days after food. Duration of reception makes from 3 to 5 days.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Drug is contraindicated to use at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation (breastfeeding).

Use at abnormal liver functions. With care appoint drug at abnormal liver functions. At the expressed abnormal liver functions drug is contraindicated.

Use at renal failures. With care appoint drug at renal failures. At the expressed renal failures drug is contraindicated.

Special instructions. With care appoint drug at abnormal liver functions or kidneys.

During treatment by Agrippin SR it is necessary to avoid alcohol intake.

Use in pediatrics. Drug is contraindicated to use for children and teenagers aged up to 15 years.

Side effects:

From TsNS: dizziness, sleep disorders.

Allergic reactions: skin rash.

At prolonged use of drug Agrippin SR in high doses development of hepatotoxic and nephrotoxic action is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Simultaneous use Agrippina SR with the anticoagulants derivative of a cortisone, analgetics, NPVS, neuroleptics and ethanol increases risk of development of side effects of these drugs.

Contraindications:

— GIT erosive cankers in an aggravation phase;

— bronchial asthma and other obstructive diseases of a respiratory organs;

— the expressed abnormal liver functions and kidneys;

— pregnancy;

— lactation (breastfeeding);

— blood diseases;

— children's and teenage age up to 15 years;

— hypersensitivity to drug components.

Overdose:

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, perspiration, pallor of integuments.

Treatment: gastric lavage, purpose of absorbent carbon, performing symptomatic therapy.

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in dry, protected from light, the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature from 15 °C to 25 °C. A period of validity - 1 year.
