General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: methyl salicylate of 10 mg, menthol of racemic 10 mg, camphor of racemic 20 mg, бензилникотинат 10 mg.

Excipients: liquid paraffin, emulsifier, white beeswax, cetyl palmitate, oil of a pine ordinary, water.

Pharmacological properties:

The combined drug which effect is caused by the components which are its part; has local irritative, antiinflammatory, analgeziruyushchy effect.

Camphor - medicine of a plant origin, renders antiseptic, local irritative, analgeziruyushchy and antiinflammatory action. Exciting sensitive nerve terminations of skin, expands blood vessels and improves a trophicity of bodies and fabrics.

Methyl salicylate has antiinflammatory and local analgeziruyushchy effect; рацементол at topical administration has local irritative effect.

Benzilnikotinat expands superficial blood vessels, improving a blood stream of skin and hypodermic fabrics.

Pharmacokinetics. Active ingredients quickly get into skin and hypodermic fabrics. Due to the low concentration in cream of active ingredients (camphor of 2%, methyl salicylate, бензилникотинат, рацементол 1%), extent of penetration into a system blood stream is insignificant, than local action in the inflammation center is provided.

When drawing on the surface of skin active ingredients are partially soaked up; are metabolized in a liver, are allocated, generally with kidneys.

Indications to use:

— arthralgia, neuralgia, radiculitis, sciatica, lumbago;

— muscular pains (mialgiya) of a rheumatic and not rheumatic origin;

— posttraumatic inflammation of soft tissues and joints.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly.

To adults and children 16 years cream are more senior put with a thin layer and carefully rub in skin of an affected area 3-4 For one drawing squeeze out a strip of cream about 2 cm long, cream can be applied at the same time no more than on 2 sites of skin; the surface of drawing on the area should not exceed the area of two palms. A course of treatment - no more than 7-8 days.

Features of use:

It is necessary to apply only outwardly.

It is necessary to avoid hit of drug in eyes, it is impossible to apply on sensitive sites of skin, including in a face (especially a nose). In case of hit of cream on sensitive sites of skin it is necessary to wash away immediately drug a large amount of flowing water. At hit on a mucous membrane of eyes, cream it is necessary to wash away a large amount of water.

After use of cream it is necessary to wash up carefully hands if they are not object of treatment.

On the site on which cream is applied it is not necessary to impose the warming compresses, and also cream is not applied on previously warmed skin. The leather processed by cream sites need to be protected from sunlight in connection with probability of emergence of signs of a photosensitization. In case of an accidental proglatyvaniye of drug it is necessary to see a doctor.

Side effects:

Are possible: allergic skin reactions (urticaria); irritation of skin; photosensitization; headache, dizziness, sonitus, nausea, vomiting and contact dermatitis.

Interaction with other medicines:

Methyl salicylate (at its absorption from the surface of skin) can strengthen effect of anticoagulants, a methotrexate.

Contraindications:

— disturbance of integrity of integuments;

— eczema;

— dermatitis;

— pregnancy;

— lactation period;

— age up to 16 years;

— hypersensitivity to components of drug and to NPVP.

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast

Kamfart at pregnancy is not recommended to use drug and in the period of a lactation.

Use for children

Drug is contraindicated to children up to 16 years.

Overdose:

Symptoms: potential danger at topical administration of cream is emergence of strong irritation, allergic contact dermatitis and anaphylactic reactions. At accidental hit of drug inside or when drawing on a mucous membrane (especially a nose) at children emergence of toxic reactions is possible.

Symptoms of intoxication is nausea, vomiting, a headache, spasms, nonsense, oppression of TsNS and lump.

Owing to existence in composition of drug of camphor respiratory depression which is followed by a characteristic smell is possible, the anury can develop.

Treatment: to wash out a stomach, to accept a purgative and absorbent carbon. It is not necessary to cause vomiting. When developing spasms in/in diazepam or barbiturates of short action (sodium thiopental).

Storage conditions:

To store drug at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 5 years.

Not to use after expiry date.
