General characteristics. Structure:

Excipients: глицерол 99%, sodium saccharin, Natrium benzoicum (E211), fragrance of ginger and a lemon (ginger oil, alcohol, lemon oil, partially stabilized lemon oil, citric acid, water), the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Laxative drug with osmotic properties.
The mechanism of effect of drug is based on increase with the help of osmotic processes of a delay of water in a gleam of a small intestine. Accumulation of liquid in an ileal gut leads to strengthening of a vermicular movement and the subsequent purgation.

Pharmacokinetics. Drug possesses only local action therefore pharmacokinetic researches are not considered as necessary. Sodium phosphate is badly soaked up from a GIT, however small absorption of ions of sodium and phosphates takes place and is dozozavisimy.

Indications to use:

— preparation for endoscopic or X-ray inspection of a large intestine;
— preparation for an operative measure on a large intestine.

Route of administration and doses:

Drug is used at adults and teenagers 15 years are aged more senior. Dose adjustment for patients of advanced age is not required.

It is necessary to begin reception of Flit of Phospho-soda in the day preceding the appointed endoscopic or radiological procedure. If the procedure is appointed to time in the forenoon, it is recommended to follow the instruction for morning appointment. If the procedure is appointed to time in the afternoon, it is recommended to follow the instruction for day appointment.

Morning appointment

Day before the procedure

In 7 h morning instead of a breakfast to suck in not less than 1 glass of "light liquid" (including the soups exempted from solid particles, fruit juice without pulp, tea and coffee, transparent carbonated and not carbonated soft drinks) or waters.

The first dose of drug should be accepted directly after a breakfast. In half of glass (120 ml) of cold water it is necessary to dissolve contents of 1 bottle (45 ml). To drink and wash down ready solution with one (or more) a glass (240 ml) of cold water.

In 13 h instead of a lunch it is necessary to drink not less than 3 glasses (720 ml) of "light liquid" or water.

In 19 h instead of a dinner to drink not less than 1 glass of "light liquid" or water.

The second dose of drug should be accepted directly after a dinner. In half of glass (120 ml) of cold water it is necessary to dissolve contents of the second bottle (45 ml). To drink and wash down ready solution with one (or more) a glass (240 ml) of cold water.

At desire it is possible to drink the bigger volume of liquid. "Light liquids" and water can be drunk up to midnight.

Day appointment

Day before the procedure

In 13 h during a lunch it is possible to have a bite easily. After a lunch it is impossible to eat any firm food.

In 19 h instead of a dinner it is necessary to drink 1 glass of "light liquid" or water. At desire it is possible to drink the bigger volume of liquid.

The first dose of drug should be accepted directly after a dinner. In half of glass (120 ml) of cold water it is necessary to dissolve contents of the second bottle (45 ml). To drink and wash down ready solution with one (or more) a glass (240 ml) of cold water. At desire it is possible to drink the bigger volume of liquid.

During the evening it is necessary to drink not less than 3 glasses of "light liquid" or water.

Day of the procedure

In 7 h morning instead of a breakfast it is necessary to drink 1 glass of "light liquid" or water. At desire it is possible to drink the bigger volume of liquid.

The second dose of drug should be accepted directly after a breakfast. In half of glass (120 ml) of cold water it is necessary to dissolve contents of the second bottle (45 ml). To drink and wash down ready solution with one (or more) a glass (240 ml) of cold water.

Water and "light liquids" can be used to 8 h.

Usually this drug causes a chair during of half an hour to 6 h.

Features of use:

Drug should not be used as means for treatment of locks.

With care it is necessary to use drug at the patients of advanced age weakened, with reduced function of kidneys, heart diseases, kolostomy, being on a diet with the low content of salt as there is a probability of development of a hyperphosphatemia, hypocalcemia, hypopotassemia, dehydration against the background of a hypernatremia, acidosis.

It is necessary to warn the patient about a possible frequent liquid chair.

Very seldom at endoscopy on mucous sigmoid and a rectum single or multiple aftopodobny changes were observed: lymphoid follicles, discrete formations of inflammatory character, or the changes caused by the carried-out preparation. These anomalies are not clinically significant and spontaneously disappear without treatment.

Lengthening of an interval of QT on an ECG as result of an electrolytic imbalance as a hypocalcemia or a hypopotassemia can seldom be observed.

Influence on ability to driving of motor transport and to control of mechanisms
Drug does not influence ability to driving of motor transport and control of mechanisms.

Side effects:

From the alimentary system: nausea, vomiting, abdominal pains, abdominal distention, diarrhea; very seldom - at endoscopy on mucous sigmoid and a rectum single or multiple aftopodobny educations can be observed (are clinically not significant, spontaneously disappear without treatment).

From TsNS: adynamy, weakness, headache, dizziness.

From a metabolism: certain patients from risk groups have a dehydration of an organism and/or an imbalance of electrolytes (including a hyperphosphatemia, a hypocalcemia, a hypopotassemia, a hypernatremia, acidosis).

Others: allergic reactions.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is necessary to use with care drug at the patients accepting blockers кальциевх channels, diuretics, means on the basis of lithium and other drugs capable to influence the level of electrolytes as there is a probability of development of a hyperphosphatemia, hypocalcemia, hypopotassemia, dehydration against the background of a hypernatremia, acidosis.

During administration of drug of Flit Phospho-soda is possible a delay or the termination of absorption of drugs in a GIT. Effect of regularly accepted drugs (including antibiotics, oral contraceptives, antiepileptic and hypoglycemic means) can be reduced or in general be absent.

Contraindications:

It is not necessary to use drug at patients with the following diseases, states or suspicions on them:
— partial or full obstruction of intestines;
— disturbance of integrity of intestines;
— megacolon (inborn or acquired);
— acute inflammatory diseases of intestines;
— heart failure;
— renal failure;
— existence of nausea, vomiting, abdominal cavity pains;
— children's and teenage age up to 15 years;
— hypersensitivity to drug components.

FOSFO-SODA drug FLIT use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast
It is not necessary to apply Flit Phospho-soda at pregnancy as not enough reliable information about ability of drug to influence toxic a fruit and/or to cause its wrong formation.
As sodium phosphate is emitted with breast milk, it is necessary to refuse breastfeeding at once after reception of the first dose of drug and during the subsequent 24 h after reception of the last dose.

Use at renal failures
Use of drug at a renal failure is contraindicated.

Use for elderly patients
With care it is necessary to use drug at patients of advanced age.

Use for children
Drug is contraindicated to children and teenagers up to 15 years.

Overdose:

Cases of a lethal outcome owing to a hyperphosphatemia with the accompanying hypocalcemia, a hypernatremia and acidosis, after use of drug in high doses at children and patients with locks are described.

At the same time children or patients have cases of a complete recovery after accidental overdose of drug with locks (one of them received a 6-fold dose of means).

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 25 °C.
