General characteristics. Structure:

Insti's granules for preparation of solution for intake of brown color, with a slight smell of menthol when grinding.

Active ingredients: contains in 1 sachet package; the dense water extract of 400 mg prepared from:

- bark of a willow of white 750 mg
- leaves of an adkhatoda of vascular 300 mg
- leaves and flowers of a violet of odorous 100 mg
- roots and rhizomes of a glycyrrhiza of naked 550 mg
- leaves of tea of the Chinese 125 mg
- fruits of fennel of ordinary 75 mg
- leaves of an eucalyptus of spherical 35 mg
- rhizomes of a valerian of medicinal 100 mg

Excipients: menthol, starch corn, sucrose.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The combined vegetable drug used at catarrhal diseases.

Renders expectorant, antiinflammatory, mucolytic, and also febrifugal action.

Pharmacokinetics. According to the International convention (EMEAHMPWG11/99) when carrying out clinical tests of drugs of a plant origin the isolated research of pharmacokinetic parameters is not required.

Indications to use:

— symptomatic therapy of a SARS (at fervescence to 38 °C, a headache, a congestion of a nose, morbidity during the swallowing, cough).

Route of administration and doses:

The adult inside on 1 sachet of 2-3 times/days after meal. The course of treatment makes 7-8 days.

Contents of 1 sachet should be dissolved in a glass of hot water and to drink slowly.

Increase in duration of a course of treatment is possible according to the recommendation of the doctor.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Drug is contraindicated to use at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation (breastfeeding).

Use at abnormal liver functions. With care use drug at heavy renal failures.

Use at renal failures. With care use drug at heavy abnormal liver functions.

Special instructions. Sucrose is a part of granules (5.13 g in a single dose) that patients need to consider at purpose of drug with a diabetes mellitus, and also at a low-calorie diet.

The patient has to be warned about need of the termination of administration of drug and the address to the doctor at fervescence above 38 °C, strengthening of cough, emergence of rattles in lungs, a purulent phlegm, a rhinorrhea with purulent separated, quinsies.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Simultaneous use of Insti with antibechic medicines, and also with the drugs reducing formation of a phlegm as difficulty of expectoration of the liquefied phlegm is possible is not recommended.

Contraindications:

— pregnancy;

— period of a lactation (breastfeeding);

— children's and teenage age up to 18 years;

— hypersensitivity to drug components.

With care use drug at heavy abnormal liver functions, kidneys, cardiovascular system, the increased coagulability of blood.

Overdose:

So far about cases of overdose of drug of Insti it was not reported.

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 25 °C. A period of validity - 3 years.
