excipients:
cellulose microcrystallic, potato starch, methacrylic acid copolymer, talc, magnesium stearate.

Description. Round tablets from color, white to white with a yellowish shade, with a flat surface and the cut-off edge.

Pharmacological properties:

The metindol ретард possesses the antiinflammatory, anesthetizing and febrifugal action. The mechanism of effect of drug is connected with oppression of activity of enzyme of cyclooxygenase and decrease in synthesis of prostaglandins causing emergence of pain, temperature increase and increase in fabric permeability in the inflammation center.
At a joint syndrome the Metindol ретард reduces an inflammation and stops pain at rest and at the movement, reduces morning constraint and a swelling of joints, promotes increase in volume of movements.

Pharmacokinetics. Absorption is bystry. Bioavailability at appointment in usual tablets, a dragee or capsules - 90-98%, when using tablets of the prolonged action during 12 h is absorbed by 90% of the entered dose. After intake Tsmax-of 2 h, Smax-0,69 mkg/ml.
Communication with proteins of plasma - 90%. It is metabolized generally in a liver.
T1/2 - 4-9 h (the indicator can vary depending on expressiveness of system metabolism, enterogepatichesky circulation and a reabsorption). It is brought by kidneys to 70%, and 30% in not changed look, and a GIT - 30%. Gets into breast milk, when using by mother of 200 mg of drug a day in milk from 0,5 to 2 mg are defined. Route of administration and doses:

The metindol ретард is accepted inside, without chewing, in time or directly after food, washing down with enough water or milk.
The adult appoint 1 or 2 tablets within a day, depending on disease severity and individual portability.
It is not necessary to exceed a dose more than 150 mg a day.

Features of use:

During treatment control of a picture of peripheral blood and a functional condition of a liver and kidneys is necessary.
In need of definition of 17 ketosteroids drug should be cancelled for 48 h prior to a research.
It is necessary to control function of a liver, cellular composition of peripheral blood.
