General characteristics. Structure:
Active agents (on 1 g of ointment): oil rosemary radio 50 mg; oil eucalyptus radio 50 mg; Peruvian balm of 60 mg; camphor of racemic 125 mg;
Excipients: carbomer 974 P, hydroxide sodium solution of 30%, polysorbate 20, the water purified.
Description: homogeneous ointment of white color with a characteristic smell of camphor and essential oils
Pharmacological properties:
Combined antiseptic, antiinflammatory and an expectorant for topical administration at respiratory diseases. Stimulates breath, eliminates symptoms of ORZ and "cold", renders antiseptic, antiinflammatory, expectorant, bronkhodilatiruyushchy action. Ointment BRO does not irritate Teraflya healthy skin.
Indications to use:
It is applied in complex therapy of the inflammatory and infectious and inflammatory respiratory diseases which are followed by cough: acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis, tracheobronchitis, tracheitis.
Route of administration and doses:
Outwardly.
Teraflya BROS apply ointment at adults and children 3 years are more senior.
2-3 times a day to put a small amount of ointment on upper and average speak rapidly breasts and spins, along the average line. To rub slightly before full absorption and to cover with warm dry fabric.
Features of use:
Ointment cannot be applied on mucous membranes (in particular, a nose and a mouth), on burn surfaces and on the injured skin. At hit of drug in eyes or on a mucous membrane to wash out cold water. Not to accept inside! Drug is intended only for external use! Does not leave fat marks and spots on clothes.
Side effects:
There are data on emergence of reactions of skin hypersensitivity after use of the Peruvian balm.
The patient has to mean that in case of the undesirable phenomena which are not mentioned in the instruction it is necessary to report about it to the attending physician.
Interaction with other medicines:
Clinically significant interactions with other medicines are not revealed.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any of components, an epileptic syndrome (in the anamnesis), children's age (up to 3 years).
Overdose:
There are data on camphor overdose, especially for children after intake, when drawing on skin or mucous a nose.
Symptoms of overdose of camphor or eucalyptus oil: nausea, vomiting, spastic abdominal pains, a headache, the expressed dizziness, face reddening, breath difficulty, a delirium, spasms, oppression of activity of the central nervous system, a lump. In case of overdose measures of acute management are shown.
At accidental administration of drug inside first aid consists in reception of absorbent carbon, salt laxative and a gastric lavage. Spasms can be stopped slow intravenous administration of diazepam or, if necessary, use of barbiturates of short-term action.
Storage conditions:
Drug should be stored at a temperature below 30 °C, in the places unavailable to children.
Period of validity: 5 years. Drug should not be used after expiry date of the validity specified on packaging.
