General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: симетикон 66,66 mg/ml.

Pharmacological properties:

Simetikon (activated диметикон) is a combination of the metilirovanny linear siloxane polymers stabilized by trimetilsiloksilovy groups from silicon dioxide. Reducing surface intention on limit of the section of phases, complicates education and promotes destruction of gas bubbles in a nutritious suspension and GIT slime. Gases which are released at the same time can be absorbed by walls of intestines or be removed thanks to a peristaltics. It prevents formation of the large gas and mucous conglomerates causing painful swelling. At sleepy and a X-ray analysis prevents appearance of defects of the image, promotes the best irrigation of a mucous membrane of a large intestine contrast agents, interfering with a rupture of a contrast film.
Simetikon after oral administration is not soaked up in a GIT and brought with a stake in not changed look. Owing to chemical inertness does not influence the microorganisms and enzymes which are present at a GIT. Does not reduce absorption of food, does not change reaction and volume of a gastric juice.

Indications to use:

• a symptomatic treatment of the disturbances from a digestive tract connected with accumulation of gases, for example, at a meteorism, at gripes at children;
• preparation for diagnostic testings of abdominal organs and small pelvis (X-ray inspections and gastrofibroskopiya);
• as the defoaming agent at acute poisonings with detergents.

Route of administration and doses:

Drug is accepted inside after consultation with the doctor.
Before use to shake up before receiving a homogeneous emulsion.
Precisely to measure a drug dose, during an instillation the bottle should be held vertically.
At the disturbances from a digestive tract caused by accumulation of gases
Drug is usually used after food of 3-5 times a day (including before going to bed):
to children aged from the 28th day of life to 1 year add 16 drops to a bottle with baby food at each feeding or by means of a small spoon, add to or after feeding by a breast;
to children at the age of 1–6 years — on 16 drops (40 mg of a simetikon) of 3-5 times a day;
to children at the age of 6–14 years — till 16-32 drops of 3-5 times a day;
to children 14 years and the adult — on 32 drops of 3-5 times a day are aged more senior.
For convenient use of drug by his small children it is possible to mix with a small amount of boiled chilled water, baby food or not gassy liquid in advance.
Duration of treatment depends on existence of complaints and is established individually.
Preparation for holding diagnostic procedures
In one day prior to a research appoint 32 drops 3 times a day and once 32 drops in the morning before its carrying out. In addition to suspension of contrast agents the adult add 64–128 drops of Bobotik (3–6 ml) on 1 l of contrast mix for obtaining the double contrast x-ray image.
As an antidote at poisonings with surfactants.
In case of poisoning with detergents at children apply 1,5–6 ml (40–160 drops) of drug, and adults have 6–12 ml of drug.

Features of use:

Bobotik does not contain sugar therefore it can be applied a sick diabetes mellitus. It is not recommended to drink carbonated drinks during Bobotik's use. Administration of drug can distort results of some diagnostic tests, for example, of the test with use of guaiac pitch. At repeated emergence of complaints or long complaints from a GIT it is necessary to see a doctor.
Use during pregnancy and feeding by a breast. There are no data on what симетикон has teratogenic or embriotoksichesky effect. Use of drug during pregnancy and feeding by a breast on doctor's orders is possible.
Influence on speed of response at control of vehicles or work with other mechanisms. Does not influence.

Side effects:

At administration of drug in the recommended doses of side effects it is not revealed. Allergic reactions (skin rash, an itch) are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Disturbance of absorption of peroral anticoagulants is possible.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to a simetikon and/or other components of drug; intestinal impassability; obstructive gastrointestinal diseases.

Overdose:

Drug is chemically inert and is not soaked up in a GIT. There are no data on Bobotik's overdose. In case of unusual reactions it is necessary to see a doctor of rather further use of drug.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature not above 25 °C.
