Kolicite suspension

General characteristics. Structure:

Acting veshchestvo:1 with ml of suspension contains симетикон an emulsion it is equivalent to a simetikon of 40 mg.

Auxiliary вещества:полисорбат 80, carbomer, sodium saccharin, glycerin, Natrium benzoicum (Е 211), flavoring additive mint peppery, flavoring additive sweet pineapple, sodium hydroxide, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Kolicite is a drug which reduces manifestations of a meteorism. Active component of drug – симетикон – inert, surfactant which eliminates vials of gas in intestines at a meteorism, reducing their surface intention. Gases which are released at the same time can both be absorbed by intestines walls, and to be brought out of an organism thanks to an intestines peristaltics. Simetikon is not absorbed in the digestive channel, brought by transit therefore Kolikid does not okazvat the central action.
Use of drug prior to diagnostic testings prevents appearance of defects of the image, caused by vials of gas; promotes careful irrigation of a mucous membrane of a large intestine a contrast agent that prevents a rupture of a contrast film even in case of intestines swelling.
Pharmacokinetic data are not submitted as симетикон it is not soaked up from a digestive tract. It is brought out of an organism in not changed look.

Indications to use:

- A symptomatic treatment at the complaints from digestive tract connected with gas generation (for example, a meteorism);
- as supportive application when conducting diagnostic testings of abdominal organs (a X-ray analysis, ultrasonography) and preparation for a gastroduodenoskopiya;
- the strengthened gas generation after surgical interventions;
- poisoning with detergents.

Route of administration and doses:

Drug is accepted in time or after meal, and if necessary – before going to bed.
Duration of treatment depends on existence of complaints. If necessary drug can be accepted throughout a long span. Before use contents of a bottle should be shaken up well.
The complaints from a digestive tract connected with gas generation.
- Babies: 0,5–1 ml of Kolikid add to a small bottle with baby food at each feeding or give to/after feeding by a breast by means of a small spoon.
If necessary it is possible to increase a dose to 40 mg (1 ml). Disappearance of symptoms is observed in several days.
- Children age from 1 to 6 years: on 1 ml of drug; from 6 to 14 years: on 1–2 ml of drug; children are more senior than 14 years and adults: on 2 ml of drug.
- Drug is used in time or after the use of food by each 4–6 hours.
For measurement of doses it is possible to use the plastic one-time syringe without needle with a capacity of 2 ml.
- At poisoning with detergents. Depending on weight of poisoning children accept from 2,5 ml to 10 ml of Kolikid, and adults – from 10 to 20 ml of drug.
- For preparation for diagnostic testings. To children – 3 times a day, on 1 ml of suspension Kolikid one day before the research and 1 ml of suspension in the morning before carrying out a research.
The adult – 3 times a day, on 2 ml of suspension Kolikid in a day prior to a research and 2 ml of suspension in the morning before carrying out a research.

Features of use:

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast. There are no cautions.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of motor transport or work with other mechanisms. Does not influence.

Children. Drug is used to children from birthday.

Side effects:

As симетикон it is not soaked up in digestive tract and brought out of an organism in not changed look, undesirable effects of drug are improbable. In isolated cases emergence of skin allergic reactions is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Data are absent.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug and its components.
Impassability of intestines, obstructive diseases of a digestive tract.

Overdose:

The overdose is improbable as drug chemically and physiologically inert.

Storage conditions:

To store at a temperature not above 25 °C in the place protected from light.
To store in the place, unavailable to children.
After the first opening of a bottle to store drug no more than 4 weeks.
