General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: Fentikonazola nitrate - 600 mg or 1000 mg

Excipients: Lecithin soy, liquid paraffin, petroleum butter.

Structure of a cover: Glitserol, gelatin, пропилпарагидроксибензоат sodium, titanium dioxide, ethylparahydroxysodium benzoate.

Pharmacological properties:

Lomeksin - antifungal drug of a broad spectrum of activity for topical administration in gynecology. Fentikonazol (active ingredient of Lomeksin) is to synthetic derivatives of an imidazole (its racemic mix in the form of nitrate salt of a fentikonazol). Renders local fungicidal and a fungistasis. Possesses also antibacterial and antiinflammatory action. The mechanism of action consists in inhibition of synthesis of the ergosterol regulating permeability of a cellular membrane of mushrooms. It is active concerning barmy mushrooms of Candida spp. (including Candida albicans) and gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp.), and also concerning Trichomonas vaginalis. Route of administration and doses:
