Vincaminum

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 7,5 mg of Vincaminum in 1 ml of solution.

The drug improving cerebral circulation, the vasodilating, stimulating metabolism in TsNS.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Relaxes smooth muscles of vessels of a brain, adapts cerebral blood circulation to metabolic requirements of a brain. Inhibits phosphodiesterase, increases the maintenance of tsAMF in brain tissues. Reduces concentration of intracellular calcium in thrombocytes. Strengthens absorption and exchange of glucose, improves brain tissue oxygenation. Increases intellectual working capacity, facilitates storing process. Brakes adhesion and aggregation of thrombocytes, reduction of viscosity of blood is a consequence of what. Slightly lowers system the ABP. Possesses sedative action.

Pharmacokinetics. After intake it is quickly soaked up. Bioavailability — 70%. Cmax  in blood is reached in 1 h. It is metabolized in a liver with formation of inactive metabolites. T1/2  is 5 h. It is excreted generally by kidneys.

Indications to use:

Disturbance of cerebral circulation (including after an ischemic stroke; at a craniocereberal injury, atherosclerotic changes of vessels of a brain, post-accident craniocereberal hypertensia), a brain vasospasm, migraine, dizziness, absent-mindedness, deterioration in the speech, vestibular and labyrinth disturbances of vascular genesis; neurogenic sinus tachycardia, arterial hypertension (initial forms); diabetic angiopatiya; a memory impairment and decrease in mental abilities at patients of advanced age, a bradygenesis of mental abilities at children and teenagers; disturbance of concentration of attention, coordination of movements at mental diseases (combination therapy).

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, irrespective of meal, on 10–40 mg 3 times a day, if necessary a dose increase up to 40 mg 4 times a day. A course of treatment — 10–30 days. A maintenance dose — on 20 mg 1–2 times a day. Children are 6 years old and are more senior — on 5 mg 3 times a day.

In/in kapelno or in oil, on 15 mg 1–2 times a day; children are 6 years old and are more senior — on 7,5 mg 2 times a day. Course of treatment about 2 months.

Features of use:

With care appoint to patients with arterial hypertension, and also to the persons who had a myocardial infarction.

Special instructions. It is not necessary to use for direct in/in injections.

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Contraindicated at pregnancy. For the period of treatment it is necessary to stop breastfeeding.

Side effects:

Hypotension, tachycardia, skin rash, allergic reactions.

Interaction with other medicines:

Strengthens effects of antiagregant and antihypertensives.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, the expressed coronary insufficiency, arrhythmia; brain tumor; pregnancy, feeding by a breast.

Storage conditions:

To store at a temperature of 15-25 °C, in dry, protected from light and the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 3 years. Not to use after the expiry date specified on packaging.

Solution for injections of 7,5 mg/ml, on 2 ml in each ampoule. On 5 or on 10 ampoules, together with the application instruction in cardboard packaging.
