Valdispert

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: dry extract of a root of a valerian of 125 mg

Excipients: dextrin; MKTs; lactoses monohydrate; macrogoal 4000; silicon dioxide colloid; magnesium stearate  
cover: shellac; gipromelloza; talc; magnesium oxide; arabic gum; sucrose; K25 povidone; macrogoal 6000; titanium dioxide; sodium of a karmelloz; bee and karnaubsky wax.

Pharmacological properties:

Weakens nervous tension and removes temporary difficulties when backfilling. Facilitates approach of a natural dream. Increases secretory activity of a mucous membrane of a GIT. Has cholagogue effect. The spasmolytic effect is shown concerning smooth muscles of bodies of a GIT and an urinary system. Slows down a cordial rhythm, expands coronary vessels, at prolonged systematic use some hypotensive activity is shown.

Indications to use:

The increased nervous irritability, sleep disorder (difficulties when backfilling), irritability.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, without chewing, washing down with water.

For adults and children 12 years are more senior: for decrease in nervous tension — 1–3 tab. 1-3 of time a day; at backfilling disturbance — 1–3 tab. in 30 min. prior to a dream, if necessary earlier reception during the evening of one more single dose of drug — 1–3 table is possible. For elderly people of dose adjustment it is not required. A course of treatment — 1,5–2 months.

Features of use:

It is necessary to take with caution at a liver failure, to patients with a diabetes mellitus because of the content of sucrose as a part of drug (1 tab. contains 122,11 mg of sucrose).

It is impossible to take drug less than for 2 h or just before the beginning of driving or service of the car.

It is not necessary to accept drug more than 1,5-2 months daily.

Side effects:

At observance of recommendations about Valdispert's reception of any side effects it was not observed. Allergic reactions at intolerance of drug, any of components, are possible. At use in the doses exceeding recommended drowsiness, decrease in working capacity are possible; at prolonged use — a lock.

Interaction with other medicines:

Strengthens effect of hypnotic drugs, sedatives, tranquilizers, ethanol and other HP, the oppressing TsNS, and also spasmolysants that demands dose adjustment at combined use.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, children's age up to 12 years.

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast
It is not recommended in view of lack of data on influence of drug during pregnancy and feeding by a breast.

Overdose:

Symptoms (at reception of the dose considerably exceeding the recommended daily): feeling of fatigue, abdominal pains, weight in breasts, dizziness, a tremor and a mydriasis which disappear during 24 h.

Treatment: gastric lavage, symptomatic therapy.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature not above 30 °C.
To store in the place, unavailable to children.
