Ринофлуимуцил®

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 1 g of Acetylcysteinum, 0,5 g of a tuaminogeptan of sulfate in 100 ml of solution.

Vvspomogatelny substances: a benzalkoniya chloride, a gipromelloz, dinatrium эдетат, sodium dihydrophosphate, sodium hydrophosphate dodecahydrate, дитиотреитол, sorbitol of 70%, fragrance mint, ethanol of 96%, sodium hydroxide, the water purified.

Drug, having mucolytic and antiedematous effect.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Acetylcysteinum which is Rinofluimutsil's part has the bystry liquefying effect on mucous and is purulent - mucous allocations by a rupture of disulfide bridges of glycoproteins of slime. Acetylcysteinum has antiinflammatory effect through a braking mechanism of a chemotaxis of leukocytes. Acetylcysteinum also has properties of antioxidant. Tuaminogeptan sulfate, sympathomimetic amine, at topical administration has vasoconstrictive effect without systemic action, eliminates hypostasis, a hyperemia of a mucous membrane.

At treatment of inflammatory processes in a nasal cavity and adnexal bosoms of a nose, mucolytic and reparative action of Acetylcysteinum is supplemented with the vasoconstrictive effect of a tuaminogeptan of sulfate promoting elimination of hypostasis. Thanks to the listed effects of drug bystry healing of the mucous nasal courses and reduction of symptoms of inflammatory process is reached.

Pharmacokinetics. At topical administration of drug its compound ingredients have no systemic action.

Indications to use:

- Acute and subacute rhinitis with dense it is purulent - mucous exudate.
- Chronic rhinitis.
- Vasculomotor rhinitis.
- Sinusitis with rhinitis symptoms.

Route of administration and doses:

The drug is administered in a nasal cavity in the form of an aerosol by means of the special sprayer.

Adult: on 2 doses of an aerosol (2 pressing the valve) in each half of a nose 3 — 4 times a day.

To children: on 1 dose of an aerosol (1 pressing the valve) in each half of a nose 3 — 4 times a day. The course of treatment should not exceed 7 days.

It is not necessary to exceed the recommended doses and a course of treatment without consultation with the doctor. Rules of use of drug:

1. To remove a cap from a bottle with solution.
2. To remove a cap from the sprayer.
3. To remove a cover from the sprayer.
4. To activate the sprayer repeated pressing.

Features of use:

Children need care at purpose of drug up to 2 years, by the patient with bronchial asthma, arterial hypertension, stenocardia of the III-IV functional class, frequent premature ventricular contraction (treatment has to be carried out under control of the doctor).

Long reception of the HP containing vasoconstrictive substances can change normal function of a mucous membrane of a nose and adnexal bosoms of a nose, and also cause accustoming to drug. It is not necessary to exceed the recommended doses and a course of treatment without consultation of the doctor.
Rinofluimutsil does not exert impact on a possibility of control of vehicles and other mechanisms.

Use of drug at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation perhaps only in cases when the estimated advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for a fruit and the child.

Side effects:

- Frequent administration of drug can serve as the reason of by-effects on sympathomimetic type in very high doses (excitement, heartbeat, a tremor, arterial hypertension, disturbance of an urination, etc.).
- Dryness of a nose and throat, an inflammation of sebaceous glands can be observed.
- By-effects disappear spontaneously after treatment interruption.

Interaction with other medicines:

Rinofluimutsil is not compatible to MAO inhibitors and tricyclic antidepressants. Simultaneous use of Rinofluimutsil with anti-hypertensive means — possibly easing of anti-hypertensive effect is not recommended.

Contraindications:

- Rinofluimutsil is contraindicated at hypersensitivity to one of drug components, at closed-angle glaucoma, a hyper thyroidism.
- Drug should not be used during treatment and within 2 weeks after the end of treatment by antidepressants (MAO inhibitors).

Overdose:

It is not described. Nevertheless at emergence of such situation (for example, at accidental swallowing high doses by children) development of a depression of TsNS both with sedation, and with excitement, hypertensive crisis, especially at children is possible. Such reactions caused by a sympathomimetic vasoconstrictor demand immediate adequate drug treatment.

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature from 15 °C to 25 °C. A period of validity - 2,5 years. After opening of a bottle contents can be used within 20 days.
