Bellasthesinum

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 1 tablet contains extract of a belladonna of dense – 15 mg, benzocaine – 300 mg; excipients: cellulose microcrystallic, carboxymethylcelluloses sodium salt, sodium of a kroskarmeloz, calcium stearate, коповидон, mannitol.fiziko-chemical properties: tablets of a round form of brown color with a marble surface and impregnations of light and brown color of different intensity, with slanted edges and risky and with a characteristic slight specific smell.

Pharmacological properties:

Bellasthesinum – the combined drug which part extract of a belladonna and benzocaine are.
Drug shows analgetic and spasmolytic actions. Analgetic action is caused by effect of benzocaine - local anesthetic, and spasmolytic action – effect of a belladonna.

Indications to use:

• Spasms of smooth muscle bodies of digestive tract;
• spasms of biliary tract;
• hyper secretory gastritis (gastritis with a hyperoxemia);
• hypersalivation (the increased salivation).

Route of administration and doses:

Bellasthesinum is applied the adult inside on 1 tablet by 3 times a day. Swallow of a tablet, without chewing, and wash down 200 ml of water.
Are applied only by patients 14 years are more senior.
Bellasthesinum is intended for symptomatic short-term use therefore the course of treatment is selected individually. If symptoms of a disease do not pass within 3-5 days, it is necessary to see a doctor for the solution of a question of further use of drug.

Features of use:

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast.
Pregnant women should apply only in case according to the doctor the advantage of use of drug surpasses potential risk for a fruit.
In case of use by the women nursing breastfeeding should be stopped.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of motor transport or other mechanisms.
Use for patients whose activity demands high concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions is not recommended.

Children.
Clinical data on efficiency and safety of use for children are absent therefore to apply Bellasthesinum at patients 14 years are younger does not follow.

Before an initiation of treatment Bellasthesinum it is necessary to consult to the doctor.
With care to apply to patients with polyneuropathy, a hyperthyroidism, coronary heart disease, chronic heart failure, arterial hypertension, diseases of kidneys, phrenic hernia, a reflux esophagitis.
Prolonged use at cholelithiasis and a nephrolithiasis (urolithiasis) is not recommended.
At high temperature of the environment use of Bellasthesinum can lead to heatstroke.
It is not necessary to use drug longer than an established period without consultation of the doctor!
If symptoms of a disease do not begin to disappear or, on the contrary, the state of health will worsen, or there will be undesirable phenomena, it is necessary to suspend administration of drug and to see behind consultation a doctor of rather further use.

Side effects:

Bellasthesinum is well transferred, but are sometimes possible:
From TsNS: a headache, dizziness, nervousness, drowsiness, excitement (especially at elderly patients), weakness, frustration of a dream, an ataxy (ataxias), disturbance of the speech;
From a GIT: dryness in a mouth, taste loss, appetite loss, a lock;
From an organ of sight: expansion of pupils;
From CCC: tachycardia;
Emergence of allergic reactions is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

If you accept any other medicines, surely report about it to the doctor.
Bellasthesinum reduces antibacterial activity of streptocides.
Amantadin and quinidine strengthen effect of Bellasthesinum.
At simultaneous use of Bellasthesinum with opioid analgetics and drugs, the oppressing TsNS there is a dangerous block of TsNS; with a haloperidol and organic nitrates – intraocular pressure increases; with corticosteroids for system use – the effect of corticosteroids decreases and increase in intraocular pressure is possible; with M-holinoblokatorami – the anticholinergic effect amplifies; with furosemide – orthostatic hypotension is possible.
Reserpinum, MAO inhibitors, гуанетидин, antiacid means, ascorbic acid, attapulgite reduce effect of Bellasthesinum.
At simultaneous use of Bellasthesinum with antihistaminic drugs the antihistaminic effect amplifies; with blockers of beta adrenoceptors - the effect of beta-blockers decreases; with hormonal contraceptives – the contraceptive effect decreases; with non-selective inhibitors of the return neyronalny capture of monoamines - sedation amplifies.
Bellasthesinum reduces effect of NPVP, griseofulvin, digitoxin, doxycycline, a ketokonazol, Metoclopramidum, metronidazole; increases effect of an indapamid, nizatidin.
At simultaneous use of Bellasthesinum with the drugs containing potassium formation of ulcers in intestines is possible.

Contraindications:

• Allergy to benzocaine, extract of a belladonna and other components of drug;
• the stenosing gastrointestinal diseases;
• intestines atony, atonic locks;
• acute ulcer colitis;
• mechanical intestinal impassability;
• sharply expressed atherosclerosis;
• tachyarrhythmia;
• acute bleedings;
• myasthenia;
• glaucoma or suspicion of glaucoma;
• prostate adenoma;
• children's age up to 14 years.

Overdose:

Use of Bellasthesinum in high doses can lead to dangerous poisonings.
Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, tachycardia (cardiopalmus), tachyarrhythmia, myocardium ischemia, impotence, suppression of a lactation, idiosyncrasy, allergic reactions, hyperthermia, decrease in sweating.
At overdose it is necessary to ask for medical care immediately!

Storage conditions:

To store in dry, protected from light, the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not over 25 ºС.Не to use drug after the termination of the period of validity specified on packaging.
