General characteristics. Structure:

Active agents: мебгидролин 400 mg; 200 mg; zinc sulfate of 20 mg; 10 mg.

Pharmacological properties:

The combined drug.
Mebgidrolin - H1 blocker - histamine receptors, possesses antipruritic and antiallergic action, reduces hypostasis of mucous membranes. Slightly getting into TsNS, has weak sedative effect.
Zinc sulfate - the knitting anti-inflammatory drug; at contact with mucous membranes there is a consolidation of colloids, extracellular liquid, slime, exudate, a surface of cells. The film which is formed at the same time protects the terminations of sensory nerves from irritation that prevents development of inflammatory process and eliminates collateral irritant action of a mebgidrolin on a GIT.

Indications to use:

— hay fever;
— conjunctivitis;
— allergic rhinitis;
— small tortoiseshell;
— eczema;
— skin itch;
— medicinal rash;
— skin reaction after sting;
— pruritic dermatosis.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside the adult - on 400 mg (in terms of мебгидролин) 1 time/days or on 200 mg of 2 times/days; to children - on 200 mg of 1 times/days. A course of treatment - 10-15 days.

The highest daily dose for adults - 600 mg, for children - 400 mg.

Side effects:

Nausea, abdominal pain, uneasiness (at night), dizziness, a tremor, paresthesias, dryness in a mouth, increased fatigue, allergic reactions, is extremely rare - an agranulocytosis.

Interaction with other medicines:

Strengthens effect of ethanol, sedative medicines.

Contraindications:

— hypersensitivity;
— prostatauxe;
— closed-angle glaucoma.
