General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: a benzalkoniya of chloride of 50% solution (Katamin AB) in terms of 100% substance - 0,0189 g.

Indications to use:

Local contraception for women of reproductive age.

Route of administration and doses:

Intravaginalno.
Lying on spin, 1 candle is entered deeply into a vagina in 5 min. prior to sexual intercourse;
action duration - 4 h.
It is obligatory to enter a new candle in case of repeated sexual intercourses.

Features of use:

Increase in efficiency requires careful observance of a route of administration of drug.
- Use together with a vulval diaphragm or VMK is possible.
- To avoid washing or irrigation of a vagina soap water since soap destroys active substance of drug (the outside toilet is possible only clear water).
- Has no harmful effect on the course of pregnancy.
- It is not allocated with breast milk, it can be applied in the period of a lactation.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions, contact dermatitis, candidiasis, vulvovaginitis.

Interaction with other medicines:

Any medicine entered intravaginalno can reduce local spermicidal action (including soap and solutions, it containing).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, colpitis, ulceration and irritation of a mucous membrane of a vagina and uterus.

Storage conditions:

In dry, protected from light, the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 25 °C.
