General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent - a benzalkoniya chloride - 0,02 g
excipient — lactose anhydrous (lactopress), cellulose; microcrystallic, пласдон ES-630 (коповидон), полипласдон EL-10 X (кросповидон) polyethyleneglycol 4000 (macrogoal), aerosil (silicon dioxide colloid), magnesium stearate.

Pharmacological properties:

Contraceptive local (spermatocidal) means, renders also antiseptic, antifungal, anti-protozoan, action; inactivates the Herpes simplex virus. Shows bactericidal activity concerning stafilokokk, streptococci, gram-negative bacteria (intestinal and pyocyanic sticks, gonokokk, a protea of a klebsiyella and others), anaerobic bacteria, mushrooms and pleseny. Affects strains of the bacteria steady against antibiotics and other chemotherapeutic medicines; suppresses a plazmokoagulaza and hyaluronidase of stafilokokk. Spermatocidal action is caused by ability to damage membranes of spermatozoa ( at the beginning of flagellums, then a head) that causes impossibility of fertilization by the damaged spermatozoon. The effect develops in 5 minutes after administration of vaginal suppository. Shows activity in the prevention of diseases, sexually transmitted (gonorrhea, clamidiosis, trichomoniasis). Does not influence normal microflora of a vagina (in t.   h on Doderlyayn's stick) and a hormonal cycle.

Pharmacokinetics. Practically it is not soaked up at intravaginalny introduction, is removed a simple podmyvaniye water and with normal physiological allocations.

Indications to use:

Local contraception for women of reproductive age (existence of contraindications to use of oral contraceptives or intrauterine contraception; puerperal period, lactation period; the period after abortion; the premenopauzny period, need of incidental protection from pregnancy; the admission or delay in reception of constantly used oral contraceptives).

Route of administration and doses:

Previously having exempted a tablet from planimetric packaging, enter it deeply into a vagina in  a dorsal decubitus in 5 minutes prior to sexual intercourse; action duration — 4 h. Single dose: 1 tablet is counted on 1 sexual intercourse. It is obligatory to enter a new vaginal tablet in case of repeated sexual intercourses. Frequency rate of use is limited to individual portability of active ingredient and frequency of sexual intercourses.

Features of use:

Increase in efficiency requires careful observance of a route of administration of drug. Use together with a vulval diaphragm or intrauterine contraception is possible. After a coitus intravaginalny use of hygienic means (syringing by soap water since soap destroys active substance of drug) in order to avoid loss of contraceptive effect is not recommended; the outside toilet of generative organs is possible.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions (burning, itch); contact dermatitis.

Interaction with other medicines:

Any medicine entered intravaginalno can reduce local spermicidal action (including soap and solutions, it containing). Iodine solutions (including 0,1% Iodonatum solution) inactivate drug.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, a colpitis, an ulceration and irritation of a mucous membrane of a vagina and uterus. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding  has no Harmful effect on the course of pregnancy. It is not allocated with breast milk, it can be applied in the period of a lactation.

Storage conditions:

 List B. At a temperature not above 25 °C, in dry, protected from light and the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 2 years. Not to use after the term specified on packaging.

Packaging:

Tablets vaginal 20 mg. On 6 or 10 tablets in a blister strip packaging. On 12 tablets in a tuba polymeric. Each tuba or 1 planimetric packaging on 10 tablets, or 2 blister strip packagings on 6 tablets together with  the application instruction in a pack from a cardboard.
