General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: ^{not less than 108} live bacteria of Lactobacillus plantarum 8P-A3, not less than 107 live bacteria of Lactobacillus acidophilus K3III24, not less than 107 live bacteria of Bifidobacterium bifidum 1.

Excipients: components of the protective environment for drying * (gelatin, sucrose (sugar), milk).

* structure of the protective environment for drying (on 1 l of the environment): gelatin from 1.5% to 3%, sucrose (sugar) - from 5% to 20%, powdered milk - from 8% to 25%, water - to 1 l.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Drug represents microbic weight live, antagonistic active strains of bacteria of Lactobacillus plantarum 8P-A3, Lactobacillus acidophilus of K3III24 and Bifidobacterium bifidum 1, lyophilized in the environment of cultivation with addition of the protective sakharozo-zhelatino-milk environment.

The therapeutic effect of drug is caused by contents in it live lakto-and bifidobacteria which have antagonistic activity against a wide range of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms and by that recover balance of intestinal and vulval microflora, normalize digestive and protective functions of intestines, activate exchange processes, increase nonspecific resistance of an organism.

Against the background of administration of drug reliable increase in quantity lakto-and bifidobacteria, and also disappearance or reduction of the clinical symptoms characteristic of a disbioz of a GIT and a bacterial vaginosis is noted.

Indications to use:

Treatment of dysbacterioses of various etiology at persons aged from 18 up to 60 years:

— the intestinal dysbiosis which arose as a result of long antibacterial, hormonal, radiation and other therapy at stay in extreme conditions;

— an intestinal dysbiosis against the background of acute intestinal infections or food toxicoinfections, and also at convalescents after the postponed acute intestinal infections or food toxicoinfections;

— an intestinal dysbiosis at infectious and allergic diseases;

— the intestinal dysbiosis arising against the background of acute and chronic gastrointestinal diseases;

— other diseases or states which are followed by disturbance intestines normoflor with deficit lakto-and bifidobacteria.

Treatment of the diseases caused by disturbance of balance of vaginal microflora at women is more senior than 18 years (it is appointed as independent means and/or as a part of complex therapy):

— the nonspecific colpitises (which are not connected with gonococcal, mecotic and other specific infection);

— vagina disbioza, including bacterial vaginosis;

— hormonal and dependent colpitises;

— subacute and chronic stages of inflammatory processes of a female genital (appoint after the termination of a course of antibacterial therapy for the purpose of normalization of microflora);

— recovery of normal microflora of a vagina after specific antimicrobic, antiviral and immunomodulatory therapy;

— other diseases or states which are followed by disturbance vagina normoflor with deficit lakto-and bifidobacteria.

Route of administration and doses:

Бифилакт-БИЛС® at intestinal diseases apply inside, and in obstetric and gynecologic practice - locally (intravaginalno).

Inside. To carry out dissolution of contents of a bottle as follows: in a glass to pour about 25-50 ml of boiled water of room temperature; to open a bottle, having removed a cap and a stopper; from a glass to transfer to a bottle a small amount oxen; after dissolution (drug is dissolved within no more than 5 min. with formation of homogeneous opaque suspension of beige or light brown color) to transfer contents of a bottle to the same glass and to mix.

The dissolved drug is not subject to storage. Drug is used inside in 30 min. prior to food or in 1.5 h after food, washing down with water or milk of room temperature. It is recommended to apply Bifilakt-BILS® on 2 bottles of 3 times/days. Course of treatment 2-4 weeks.

If necessary it is possible to repeat a course of treatment 2-3 times.

Locally (intravaginalno). To dissolve contents of a bottle in 8-10 ml of boiled water of room temperature, to impregnate a sterile tampon with drug, to enter into a vagina and to leave on 2-3 h. Appoint on 2 bottles of 2 times/days within 7-12 days.

Features of use:

Use for children. Drug use aged up to 18 years is contraindicated to children and teenagers (due to the lack of these clinical trials).

Special instructions. Drug in bottles with the broken integrity or indistinct marking is not suitable for use, at change of physical properties (discoloration, biomass wrinkling), in the presence of foreign inclusions.

Dissolution of drug in hot water (above 40 °C), and also the use of drug along with alcohol, in connection with decrease in its efficiency is not recommended.

Content of sucrose (sugar) and milk insignificantly and does not exceed 0.1 grain units (GU) in a drug dose.

Influence on ability to manage vehicles, mechanisms. Data are absent.

Side effects:

Side effect of drug during clinical trials is not established. At certain people with the changed reactivity allergic reactions to drug components can develop.

At emergence of the side effects which are not mentioned in the instruction it is necessary to see the attending physician.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is not established.

Contraindications:

— hypersensitivity to drug components;

— age up to 18 years (due to the lack of these clinical trials).

It is not recommended to use drug at vulvovaginal candidiases.

Overdose:

Cases of overdose are not registered.

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature from 2 to 8 °C. A period of validity - 18 months. Not to use after the period of validity specified on packaging.
