Prevention of paroxysms of supraventricular tachycardia is shown to patients at whom they arise often or are followed by burdensome subjective feelings. For this purpose use verapamil, beta-blockers, is more rare — quinidine, новокаинамид. In prevention of paroxysms of ventricular tachycardia are effective quinidine, новокаинамид, мекситилен, Amiodaronum (кордарон); beta-blockers are less effective.
