Cystenal
Application instruction:
Cystenal is the drug with the combined action having diuretic (diuretic), antiinflammatory and spasmolytic properties.
Pharmacological action
Active ingredients of this drug well relax smooth muscles of ureters that promotes simplification of passing through them small concrements. In addition regular reception of medicine leads to a loosening of the urinary stones consisting of salts of calcium and magnesium.
After intake it is very quickly and almost completely soaked up. The maximum concentration of Cystenal in blood is noted in two hours after reception. Biotransformation is carried out in a liver. Medicine is removed from an organism in the form of salicylic acid and its metabolites by kidneys.
Indications to Cystenal use
According to the instruction Cystenal is appointed for treatment of an urolithiasis, chronic inflammatory diseases of urinary tract, a crystalluria (high content of salts in urine). Reviews of Cystenal demonstrate that drug is rather effective for stopping of renal colic, and also can be accepted also for prevention of its emergence.
Cystenal analogs
The following medicines possess action, similar to Cystenal: Enatin, Rovatin, Rovakhol. However on the structure they differ from Cystenal. Therefore before accepting Cystenal analogs, it is necessary to consult with the attending physician.
Instruction
This drug at an urolithiasis is accepted three times a day to food (approximately in 30 – 40 minutes) on 3 – 4 drops applied on a small piece of sugar.
For stopping of an attack of renal colic according to the instruction Cystenal should be accepted once in a dose of 10 - 20 drops. In this case medicine is given strictly after food that allows to prevent irritant action on a mucous membrane of a stomach.
According to reviews Cystenal is very effective at the patients suffering from frequent attacks of renal gripes. In this case three times a day on 10 drops recommend to accept it and to drink not less than one and a half liters of water a day.
By-effects
Drug renders on mucous a stomach irritant action that can lead to development of nausea, heartburn, vomiting. According to reviews Cystenal at long reception promotes an aggravation of a peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum.
Contraindications
Cystenal is contraindicated in the following cases:
- Glomerulonephritis (acute or chronic);
- Peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum;
- Renal failure;
- All diseases which treatment can demand carrying out surgical intervention.
According to the instruction Cystenal can be accepted during pregnancy and a lactation.
Special instructions
Drug contains alcohol in the structure. Therefore it should not be accepted to drivers of vehicles shortly before a trip.
If after reception of Cystenal severe heartburn develops, drug can be accepted in time or after food.
Form of release and composition of Cystenal
The drug Cystenal is produced in glass bottles with a capacity of 10,0 ml.
Are its part:
- Extract/tincture of a root of a madder tinctorial – 0,01 g;
- Magnesium salicylate – 0,15 g;
- Essential oils – 6,15 g;
- Alcohol – 0,8 g;
- Olive oil before achievement of the volume of 10,0 ml.
Cystenal interaction
Drug reduces efficiency of peroral forms of tetracycline and ftorkhinolon. According to reviews Cystenal raises a gastrotoksichnost of NPVS (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).
Storage conditions
Cystenal should be stored in the dark and cool place unavailable to children. A period of validity – three years.
