Дексалгин таблетки Deksalgin is non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, inhibitor of system of cyclooxygenase (analgetic).

Pharmacological action

Deksalgin possesses anesthetics, antiinflammatory and febrifugal properties. Active ingredient of drug is salt of propionic acid – a deksketoprofen трометамол.

After oral administration Deksalgin begins to act within half an hour. Through the same period the maximum concentration of drug in blood is observed. Therapeutic effect of drug Deksalgin, responses confirm, remains for 3-6 hours.

Indications to Deksalgin's use

The instruction recommends to apply Deksalgin at:

symptomatic treatment of a dentagra;
the pain accompanying periods;
pain syndrome of acute and chronic diseases of a musculoskeletal system.

Application instruction of Deksalgin

Deksalgin whose use does not assume prolonged treatment is appointed as necessary, usually from 3 to 5 days.

Deksalgin in the form of tablets it is necessary to accept each 4-6 hours 12,5 mg (1/2 tab.) from 1 to 6 times a day or each 8 hours on 25 mg (1 tab.) of no more than three times a day. The daily dose of drug has to be within 75 mg (3 tab.). To patients with a renal failure or a liver, and also elderly people the daily dose should not exceed 50 mg.

The adult usually appoint 50 mg of drug each 8-12 hours. In case of need repeated introduction of Deksalgin is made in 6 hours. The daily dose should not exceed 150 mg. It is not necessary to apply Deksalgin pricks longer than 2 days.

Side effects

Deksalgin responses characterize drug as well transferable drug, however in some cases manifestation of such undesirable reactions as is possible:

sleeplessness, dizziness, headache;
anemia (decrease in concentration of hemoglobin), thrombocytopenia (decrease quantity of thrombocytes), neutropenia (decrease in level of neutrophils);
sight illegibility, sonitus;
rush of blood to skin, feeling of heat, lowering of arterial pressure, tachycardia, superficial thrombophlebitis (an inflammation of a wall of a vein and formation of blood clot);
breath urezheniye, bronchospasm;
vomiting, nausea, lock, diarrhea, dyspepsia, anorexia, dryness in a mouth, a hematemesis, erosive cankers of a digestive tract;
jaundice, increase in activity of liver enzymes;
renal colic, polyuria (the increased formation of urine), nephrite (inflammation of kidneys);
deviations from a normal menstrual cycle (at women), dysfunction of a prostate (at men);
the complicated movement in joints, a muscular spasm;
perspiration, rash, dermatitis, urticaria, Quincke's disease;
hypoglycemia (decrease in level of glucose in blood), a hyperglycemia (the increased concentration of glucose);
exhaustion, fever, feeling of heat, syncope, dorsodynia, fever;
after Deksalgin of pricks – a hemorrhage (bleeding as a result of a rupture of a vessel), a hematoma, inflammatory reactions in the place of an injection.

Contraindications to Deksalgin's use

Patients should refuse Deksalgin's use with:

bronchial asthma;
erosive cankers of a digestive tract;
heavy disturbances of functions of a liver or kidneys;
hemorrhagic diathesis;
heavy heart failure;
hypersensitivity to drug components.

According to the instruction, Deksalgin is contraindicated to children, pregnant women and the feeding women, and also patients accepting the drugs interfering formation of blood clots and a blood coagulation (anticoagulants).

Additional information

Tablets Deksalgin should be stored far from light at a temperature which is not exceeding ^300C.

Drug in the form of solution for injections is recommended to be stored in the place where air temperature does not rise ^{higher than 250C}. Weak solution suitable for use is considered within a day on condition of its storage in the dark and cool ^(2-80C) place. A period of validity of tablets Deksalgin – 2 years, ampoule solution - 5 years.
