General characteristics. Structure:

1 capsule contains:
active component - Lebenin® powder of 280,00 mg (contains in 1 g of powder: Lactobacillus acidophilus of-300 mg, Bifidobacterium infantis - 300 mg, Enterococcus faecium - 300 mg, excipients - lactose, potato starch)
excipients: magnesium stearate; a capsule cover - methylhydroxybenzoate, пропилгидроксибензоат, titanium dioxide (E171), gelatin.

DESCRIPTION
Opaque capsules, the white case - a former lid. Contents - inodorous white powder.

Pharmacological properties:

Линекс® normalizes intestinal microflora.
One capsule of the drug Lineks® contains not less than 1,2 x 107 live lyophilized lactobacilli: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium infantis, Enterococcus faecium. Live lactobacilli are a normal component of natural intestinal microflora and contain already in a digestive tract of the newborn child.
These bacteria have great biochemical value for a human body:

fermentation of lactose shifts рН a factor in the acid party. The acid environment oppresses growth of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic bacteriums and provides optimal effect of digestive enzymes;
participate in synthesis of vitamins of group B, K, ascorbic acid, increasing thereby resistance of an organism to adverse environmental factors;
participate in metabolism of bilious pigments and bile acids;
synthesize substances with antibacterial activity;
increases immune responsiveness of an organism.

Indications to use:

Treatment and prevention of dysbacterioses.

Dysbacteriosis is shown by the following symptoms: diarrhea (diarrhea), dyspepsia (digestion disturbance), locks, a meteorism (abdominal distention), nausea, an eructation, vomiting, abdominal pains, are possible allergic skin reactions.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside.
Линекс®: it is necessary to accept after food, washing down with a small amount of liquid.
Children up to 3 years and to patients who cannot swallow the whole capsule need to open it, to pour out contents in a spoon and to mix with a small amount of liquid.
Newborns and children up to 2 years: on 1 capsule 3 times a day;
Children from 2 to 12 years: on 1-2 capsules 3 times a day
Adults and teenagers are more senior than 12 years: on 2 capsules 3 times a day.
Duration of treatment depends on the reason of development of dysbacteriosis and specific features of an organism.

Features of use:

It is not necessary to wash down Lineks® with hot drinks and to accept along with alcohol.
It is necessary to prokosultirovatsya with the attending physician before administration of drug if at you:

body temperature is above 38 °C,
traces of blood or slime in a chair,
diarrhea lasts more than two days and is followed by acute abdominal pains, dehydration and loss of weight,
chronic diseases - a diabetes mellitus, AIDS.

At treatment of diarrhea compensation of the lost liquid and electrolytes is necessary.
Influence on abilities to concentration of attention: Линекс® does not exert impact on psychophysical activity.

Side effects:

Drug is well transferred. There are no messages on undesirable effects, however it is impossible to exclude possibility of reactions of hypersensitivity.

Interaction with other medicines:

Undesirable interaction with other medicines is noted.
The composition of drug allows to accept Lineks® along with other medicines, including antibiotics and chemotherapeutic drugs.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to components of drug or dairy products.

USE AT PREGNANCY AND THE LACTATION
Use of the drug Lineks® at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation is considered safe.

Overdose:

There are no data on symptoms of overdose.

Storage conditions:

Blisters from aluminum foil: at a temperature not above 25 °C;
Blisters from an aluminum foil / a polymeric film and bottles: in the dry place, at a temperature not above 25 °C.
To store a bottle densely closed. After the first opening of a bottle to use drug within 4 months.
To store in the place, unavailable to children.

Period of validity - 2 years.
Not to use drug after expiry date.

On 16 capsules in the blister from soft aluminum foil / a rigid polymeric film (AL/PVC/PVDC); on 8 capsules in the blister from soft aluminum/rigid aluminum foil (AI/AI); on 16 or 32 capsules in a bottle of dark glass.
On 1 blister from soft aluminum foil / a rigid polymeric film (AL/PVC/PVDC), on 2 or 4 blisters from soft aluminum/rigid aluminum foil (AI/AI) or on 1 bottle in a cardboard pack together with the application instruction.
