Gripomed

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agents: paracetamol - 0,200 g, caffeine - 0,025 g, maleate chlorpheniramine - 0,0025 g, ascorbic acid - 0,150 g;

excipients: calcium stearate, talc, stearic acid, aerosil, polyvinylpirrolidone low-molecular medical, potato starch, sodium of a kroskarmelloz - before obtaining mass of contents of the capsule of 0,45 g.

Pharmacological properties:

Drug has the anesthetizing, febrifugal, antiinflammatory and desensibilizing activity. The mechanism of effect of the main active ingredient of drug - paracetamol is caused by inhibition of synthesis of prostaglandins and other mediators of pain and an inflammation is preferential in the central nervous system. Caffeine strengthens and pevtichesky effect of paracetamol accelerates a pharmakoter. Chlorpheniramine, blocking histamine H1 receptors, has the desensibilizing and analgetic effect, reduces vascular and fabric permeability of a mucous membrane of upper respiratory tracts, eliminates an itch in eyes and a nose. Ascorbic acid has anti-oxidatic properties, promotes activation of immune system, increases resistance of an organism to catarrhal diseases.

Indications to use:

The acute respiratory, catarrhal diseases which are followed by the increased body temperature, a headache, a rhinedema (rhinitis) and also allergic rhinitis, nasopharyngitis.

Route of administration and doses:

Drug is appointed to adults and children 12 years are more senior: in the acute period of a disease - on 2 capsules 2-3 times a day, further - on 1 capsule 2-3 times a day. Children are from 7 to 12 years old - on 1 capsule 2-3 times a day. A course of treatment - 5-7 days.

Features of use:

Drug is used with care at persons with liver diseases. During treatment it is not recommended to be engaged in the activity requiring special attention, bystry mental and motor reactions.

Side effects:

Dryness of mucous membranes, disturbance of accommodation, frustration of an urination, drowsiness, allergic reactions (skin rash, itch, small tortoiseshell) are possible.

Contraindications:

The expressed abnormal liver functions and kidneys, deficit of enzyme glyukozo-6-fosfatdegidrogenazy, closed-angle glaucoma, a prostatauxe, pregnancy, the lactation period, age up to 7 years, hypersensitivity to drug components.
