Acesolum

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 5 g of sodium of chloride, 1 g of potassium of chloride, 2 g of sodium of acetate.

Excipients: water for injections.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Solution Acesolum is osmotically balanced combined drug.

Solution has disintoxication and hemodynamic effect: reduces a hypovolemia, interferes with a pachemia and development of a metabolic acidosis, improves microcirculation, strengthens a diuresis.

Pharmacokinetics. Ions by K+ and Na + not for long are kept in a vascular bed, are quickly distributed on all body tissues. Are excreted preferential with urine, in small amounts — with excrements, then, tears, etc.

Indications to use:

Apply at dehydration and intoxication of an organism arising at various diseases (acute dysentery, food toxicoinfection, cholera El-Tor, etc.).

Route of administration and doses:

The balance of the entered and lost liquid is defined each 6 hours.

Solution Acesolum is applied intravenously (struyno and kapelno). Before introduction solution is warmed up to 36 — 38 °C.

Emergency rehydration treatment of patients for removal from a condition of hypovolemic shock consists in 1 — 3 hour jet administration of Acesolum solution. Within the first hour solution is entered in the quantity corresponding to 7 — 10% of body weight of the patient. Further jet introduction is replaced drop. Enter within 24 — 48 hours with a speed of 40 — 120 thaws a minute.

Total quantity of the entered solution has to correspond to the volume of the lost liquid.

Features of use:

With care apply at patients with disturbance of secretory function of kidneys.

Side effects:

The fever and temperature increase are in certain cases possible. For prevention of these phenomena it is necessary to provide good processing of systems for transfusions.

Development of a hyperpotassemia is possible, in this case drug is replaced with Disol solution before normalization of electrolytic balance.

Interaction with other medicines:

If necessary the combination to blood injection, Polyglucinum, plasmas, etc. is possible.

Contraindications:

The states which are followed by a hyperpotassemia, a hypernatremia, an overhydratation; threat of a fluid lungs, brain.

Storage conditions:

In the dry, protected from light place at a temperature not above 25 °C. In the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 2 years. Drug should be used to the term specified on packaging.
