Ovary apoplexy

Ovary apoplexy (apoplexia ovarii; synonyms: a rupture of an ovary, a rupture of a yellow body, an ovary heart attack) – the hemorrhage in an ovary parenchyma connected with a rupture of a follicle during the ovulyatsionny period. The apoplexy of an ovary is followed by bleeding in a peritoneal cavity and disturbances of an integrity of tissues of ovary.
