Arterionefroskleroz (arterionephrosclerosis; Greek aer – air + Greek tereo – to contain + Greek sklerosis – hardening, consolidation + Greek nephros – a kidney; synonym: a nephrosclerosis atherosclerotic) – atherosclerosis of internal arteries of a kidney; can lead to formation of an arteriosclerotic kidney.
