Benedikta symptom

Benedikta symptom (A. L. Benedict, amer. the doctor, 1865-1950) – observed right after reception of bicarbonate soda, when carrying out auscultation of a stomach, lack of the sounds similar to crepitation; it is found at an achlorhydria.
