Side channels of a peritoneal cavity [canales laterales (cavi peritonei) – PNA (The anatomic nomenclature Parisian)] – the parts of a peritoneal cavity which are between descending (the left side channel) or ascending (the right side channel) colons and a parietal peritoneum.
