Edge furrow [sulcus costae – PNA (The anatomic nomenclature Parisian), BNA (The anatomic nomenclature Basel), JNA (The anatomic nomenclature Yenskaya)] – the dredging lying along the lower bound of an edge on its internal surface; is the place in which there pass intercostal nerves and vessels.
