Botulism

Botulism (botulismus; lat. botulus – sausage; synonyms: an ikhtiizm, аллантиазис) – an acute infectious disease from group intestinal, caused by the toxin emitted by Clostridium botulinum bacteria; differs in development of heavy disturbances of a nervous system: paralyzes and paresis of respiratory, deglutitory and oculomotor muscles, accommodation paresis.

Botulism wound – the clinical form of botulism which is characterized by extremely heavy current caused by hit in blood of the activator or its toxins through wound surfaces.
