Gagen-Thorn mesosigmoidopexy

Gagen-Thorn mesosigmoidopexy (Russian surgeon I. E. Gagen-Thorn, 1867-1931; synonym: a mesosigmoidopexy) – surgery at a dolichosigma on reduction of mobility of a sigmoid gut by sewing up of its mesentery with formation of folds; promotes the prevention of repeated torsion of a gut.
